  • No cargue baterías no recargables.
  • Protect the charger from moisture and extreme temperatures.
  • Disconnect the charger from the mains before connecting or disconnecting battery terminals.

  1. Prepare la batería: Ensure the battery terminals are clean and free from corrosion. If charging a lead-acid battery with removable caps, check the electrolyte level and top up with distilled water if necessary.
  3. Conectarse a la energía: Plug the charger's AC power cord into a suitable mains outlet. The charger will perform a self-test and indicate its status via the LED display.

The charger is equipped with reverse polarity protection. If the clamps are connected incorrectly, an acoustic signal and LED warning display will activate.

Instrucciones de funcionamiento

The ProUser DFC530 operates automatically once connected. It features a multi-stage charging process controlled by a 12-bit AD MCU for optimal battery health and charge.

Proceso de carga:

  • Diagnóstico: The charger first checks the battery's condition and voltage.
  • Inicio suave: If the battery is deeply discharged, the charger begins with a gentle charge to prepare it for the main charging phase.
  • Carga a granel: The main charging phase, delivering maximum current until the battery reaches approximately 80% charge.
  • Carga de absorción: The charger reduces current and charges the battery to 100% at a constant voltage.
  • Float/Maintenance Charge: Once fully charged, the charger switches to a maintenance mode, supplying a small current to keep the battery at optimal charge without overcharging. This mode is ideal for long-term connection.

The LED display will indicate the current charging status. Refer to the Troubleshooting section for specific LED indicators.

Mantenimiento

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity of your ProUser DFC530 charger and the batteries it charges.

  • Limpieza: Disconnect the charger from the mains and battery before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.
  • Almacenamiento: Store the charger in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Ensure cables are neatly coiled and not kinked.
