1. Introducción

This manual provides detailed instructions for the operation and maintenance of your Casio G-Shock GA-110 Series watch. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper use and to maximize the lifespan of your timepiece. The GA-110 series is designed for durability and functionality, featuring advanced shock resistance and water resistance.

3. Configuración inicial

3.1. Funciones de los botones

Your G-Shock GA-110 watch features four primary buttons and one light button. Familiarize yourself with their locations and functions:

• AJUSTAR (arriba a la izquierda): Se utiliza para ingresar y salir de los modos de configuración y para confirmar configuraciones.
• MODO (Abajo a la izquierda): Cycles through the watch's different modes (Timekeeping, Stopwatch, Countdown Timer, World Time, Alarm).
• REVERSE (Top Right): Se utiliza para disminuir valores o retroceder en la configuración.
• FORWARD (Bottom Right): Se utiliza para aumentar valores o avanzar a través de la configuración.
• LIGHT (Front Bottom): Activa la retroiluminación LED.

3.2. Configuración de la ciudad y la hora de origen

1. En el modo de indicación de la hora, mantenga presionada la tecla AJUSTAR hasta que el código de ciudad comience a parpadear. Esto indica el modo de configuración.
2. Utilice el CONTRARRESTAR y ADELANTE buttons to select your desired Home City code.
3. Presione el MODO button to cycle through other settings: DST (Daylight Saving Time), 12/24-hour format, Seconds, Hour, Minute, Year, Month, Day.
4. Usar CONTRARRESTAR y ADELANTE to change the flashing value.
5. Después de configurar todos los valores deseados, presione el botón AJUSTAR para salir del modo de configuración.

4. Modos de funcionamiento

Presione el MODO button to navigate between the following modes:

4.1. Modo de cronometraje

4.2. Modo de cronómetro

The stopwatch measures elapsed time, split times, and two finishes. It has a 1/1000-second measuring unit.

• Prensa MODO para ingresar al modo cronómetro.

• Prensa CONTRARRESTAR to reset the stopwatch while it is stopped.
• Para registrar un tiempo fraccionado, presione CONTRARRESTAR mientras el cronómetro está en marcha. Presione CONTRARRESTAR de nuevo para liberar la división y continuar cronometrando.

4.3. Modo de temporizador de cuenta regresiva

The countdown timer can be set for a period from 1 second to 24 hours. An alarm sounds when the countdown reaches zero.

• Prensa MODO para ingresar al modo de temporizador de cuenta regresiva.
• Sostener AJUSTAR to enter setting mode. The hour setting will flash.
• Usar CONTRARRESTAR y ADELANTE Para configurar el tiempo de cuenta regresiva deseado, presione MODO para moverse entre horas, minutos y segundos.

4.4. Modo de hora mundial

View la hora actual en 29 zonas horarias (48 ciudades) alrededor del mundo.

• Prensa MODO to enter World Time Mode.
• Usar ADELANTE para desplazarse por los códigos de ciudad.
• To swap your Home City time with the World Time City time, hold down AJUSTAR y ADELANTE simultáneamente.

4.5. Modo de alarma

Set up to four one-time alarms and one snooze alarm.

• Prensa MODO para ingresar al modo de alarma.
• Usar ADELANTE to cycle through the alarms (AL1, AL2, AL3, AL4, SNZ, SIG).
• To set an alarm, select the desired alarm (e.g., AL1) and hold AJUSTAR hasta que el ajuste de la hora parpadee.

5. Mantenimiento y cuidado

Proper care will ensure the longevity and performance of your G-Shock watch.

• Resistencia al agua: While water resistant, avoid operating buttons underwater. After exposure to saltwater, rinse the watch with fresh water and dry thoroughly.
• Temperatura: Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures (below -10°C or above 60°C) or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
• Productos químicos: Keep the watch away from gasoline, cleaning solvents, aerosols, adhesives, paints, etc., as they can damage the resin case and band.
• Reemplazo de batería: The watch uses a CR1220 battery. Battery life is approximately 2 years. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by an authorized Casio service center to ensure water resistance is maintained.
