5. Instrucciones de funcionamiento

5.1. Encendido / apagado

Presione el ENCENDIDO/APAGADO button to power on the device. Press and hold the ENCENDIDO/APAGADO button for approximately 3 seconds to power off.

5.2. Calibración

Regular calibration is crucial for accurate measurements. Refer to the specific calibration procedure for pH and Redox measurements outlined below.

5.2.1. Calibración de pH

  1. Prepare soluciones tampón de pH nuevas (por ejemplo, pH 4.00, 7.00, 10.00).
  2. Rinse the pH electrode thoroughly with distilled water and blot dry.
  3. Immerse the electrode in the first buffer solution (e.g., pH 7.00).
  4. Enter calibration mode as per the device's menu.
  5. Follow on-screen prompts to confirm the buffer value.
  6. Repeat for subsequent buffer solutions.

5.2.2. Redox Calibration

Redox electrodes typically do not require calibration in the same way as pH electrodes. However, their functionality can be checked using a known Redox test solution.

5.3. Tomar medidas

  1. Asegúrese de que el dispositivo esté calibrado.
  2. Rinse the probe(s) with distilled water and blot dry.
  3. Immerse the probe(s) into the sample solution. Ensure the sensing part of the probe is fully submerged.
  4. Allow the reading to stabilize on the display.
  5. Record the measurement.
  6. After measurement, rinse the probe(s) thoroughly and store according to maintenance guidelines.

6. Mantenimiento

6.1. Limpieza del dispositivo

Wipe the device housing with a soft, damp Paño. No utilice limpiadores abrasivos ni disolventes. Asegúrese de que no entre líquido en las aberturas del dispositivo.

6.2. Probe Care and Storage

  • Electrodo de pH: Always keep the pH electrode wet. Store it in a suitable storage solution (e.g., 3M KCl solution or pH 4 buffer). Never store in distilled water.
  • Electrodo Redox: Store in a suitable storage solution or distilled water if not used for extended periods.
  • Probeta de temperatura: Clean with distilled water after each use.
  • Regularly inspect probes for damage or contamination.

6.3. Reemplazo de la batería

Reemplace las baterías cuando aparezca el indicador de batería baja en la pantalla. Consulte la sección 4.1 para obtener instrucciones sobre la instalación de las baterías.
