5. Configuración e instalación
The Schellenberg Smart Drive garage door opener is 90% pre-assembled for quick and easy installation. Follow these steps carefully:
- Prepare la puerta del garaje: Ensure your garage door operates smoothly manually and is properly balanced. Lubricate any moving parts if necessary.
- Mount the Rail System: Attach the rail sections together. Securely mount the rail system to the ceiling of your garage, centered above the garage door opening. The rail should extend towards the back of the garage.
- Acople la unidad motora: Connect the motor unit to the rail system. The motor unit typically sits at the end of the rail closest to the garage door opening.
- Connect to Garage Door: Attach the trolley on the rail to the garage door itself using the provided door arm and mounting bracket. Ensure the connection is secure and allows for smooth operation.
- Conexión eléctrica: Plug the garage door opener into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the power supply is stable.

6. Instrucciones de funcionamiento
The Schellenberg Smart Drive garage door opener can be operated using the included hand transmitters (remote controls) or integrated into a Schellenberg Smart Home System.
6.1 Using the Hand Transmitters
- Press the designated button on the hand transmitter to open or close the garage door.

6.2 Liberación de emergencia
In case of power failure or malfunction, use the internal emergency release to manually open or close the garage door. Pull the emergency release cord to disengage the door from the opener trolley.
6.3 Iluminación LED integrada
The opener features an integrated LED light that illuminates the garage when the door is operated. The light will automatically turn off after a set period.

7. Mantenimiento
El mantenimiento regular garantiza la longevidad y el funcionamiento seguro de su abridor de puerta de garaje.
- Mensual: Inspect the garage door and opener for any signs of wear, loose parts, or damage. Check the balance of the door.
- Anualmente: Lubricate moving parts of the garage door (hinges, rollers, springs) according to the garage door manufacturer's recommendations. Do not lubricate the opener's rail or chain unless specifically instructed by Schellenberg.
- Limpieza: Keep the opener unit clean and free from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth.
- Prueba de reversión de seguridad: Periodically test the safety reversal system. Place a 2x4 piece of wood flat on the floor in the path of the door. The door should reverse upon contact with the wood. If it does not, adjust or repair the system immediately.
