Configuración

1. Instalación de la batería

The Hetaida HTD8808C requires 2 x AAA batteries (not included). To install:

1. Localice la tapa de la batería en la parte inferior del mango.
2. Deslice la tapa de la batería para abrirla.
3. Inserte dos pilas AAA, asegurándose de la polaridad correcta (+ y -).
4. Cierre bien la tapa de la batería.

2. Encendido inicial

Press the ON/Scan button (trigger) to power on the thermometer. The device will perform a self-test and display the last reading or enter standby mode.

3. Unit Selection (Celsius/Fahrenheit)

1. With the device powered on, press the SET button.
2. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to navigate to the unit setting (usually indicated by °C or °F).
3. Press SET again to confirm your selection.

1. Measuring Body Temperature

1. Ensure the thermometer is in "Body" mode. If not, press the MODE button to switch.

3. Press the ON/Scan button (trigger) once.

2. Measuring Surface Temperature

This mode is suitable for measuring the temperature of objects, liquids, or rooms, but not for human body temperature.

1. Press the MODE button to switch to "Surface" mode (often indicated by a house or object icon).
2. Point the thermometer at the desired surface.
3. Press the ON/Scan button (trigger).

3. Función de memoria

The thermometer stores previous temperature readings. To access memory:

• While the device is on, press the UP or DOWN buttons to scroll through stored readings.

Mantenimiento

1. Limpieza del termómetro

• Utilice un paño suave y seco para limpiar el cuerpo del termómetro.
• For the probe and lens, gently wipe with a cotton swab slightly moistened with alcohol. Allow to dry completely before use.
• No sumerja el termómetro en agua ni en ningún otro líquido.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or thinners.

2. Almacenamiento

• Guarde el termómetro en un lugar fresco y seco, alejado de la luz solar directa y de temperaturas extremas.
• Si no se utiliza durante un período prolongado, retire las pilas para evitar fugas.
