Instalación de la batería

The Mastercraft Digital Temperature Reader requires one D battery (included) for operation.

1. Locate the battery compartment on the handle of the device (G in Figure 1).
2. Open the battery compartment cover by sliding or unlatching it.
3. Insert the D battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Cierre bien la tapa del compartimento de la batería.

Tomar una lectura de temperatura

1. Hold the device by the handle and point the infrared sensor (A) towards the surface you wish to measure.
2. Pull and hold the trigger (F). The laser pointer (B) will activate, indicating the target area.
3. The temperature reading will appear instantly on the LCD display (C). Continue holding the trigger for continuous measurement.
4. Release the trigger to hold the last measured temperature on the display. The device will automatically shut off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life.

Para cambiar entre Celsius (°C) y Fahrenheit (°F):

• With the device powered on (either by pulling the trigger or if it's in hold mode), press the Unit Conversion Button (E).
• The display will switch between °C and °F.

Optimal Measurement Distance

For best accuracy, ensure the target area is larger than the spot size of the measurement. The optimal distance-to-spot ratio (D:S) for this device is typically provided in the specifications. For general use, hold the device close enough to cover the desired measurement area without touching the surface.

Mantenimiento

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and accuracy of your temperature reader.
