3. Configuración

3.1 Desembalaje e inspección

Carefully remove the rotary hammer drill and all accessories from the carrying case. Inspect the tool for any signs of damage during transit. Ensure all components listed in the package contents are present:

3.2 Colocación del mango auxiliar

The auxiliary handle provides additional control and stability during operation. To attach:

2. Slide the handle over the chuck end of the tool until it rests in the desired position.

3.3 Inserción y extracción de brocas/cinceles

This tool uses SDS-Plus type bits. To insert:

1. Limpie el vástago de la broca o del cincel.

4. Release the chuck sleeve. Pull on the bit to ensure it is securely locked. There will be a slight play, which is normal for SDS-Plus systems.

4.1 Selección de función

The GY-RH-40040-1 offers three operating modes, selected via the mode selector switch located on the side of the tool:

4.2 Trigger and Lock Button

• Inicio de la herramienta: Press the trigger switch. The tool features variable speed, meaning the speed increases with greater trigger pressure.
• Operación continua: For extended use, press the lock button while the trigger is fully depressed. Release the trigger to stop continuous operation.
• Detener la herramienta: Release the trigger switch. If the lock button is engaged, press the trigger fully and then release it to disengage the lock.

4.3 Función reversible

A reversible switch (usually a lever near the trigger) allows you to change the direction of rotation. This is useful for removing jammed drill bits or driving/removing screws (with appropriate accessories).

Precaución: Only change the direction of rotation when the tool is completely stopped.

4.4 Using the Depth Gauge

The depth gauge helps to drill holes to a precise depth. To set:

4. Position the tip of the drill bit against the workpiece.
