3. Configuración

3.1 Dar cuerda al reloj

Before setting the time, ensure the watch has sufficient power reserve. If the watch has stopped, gently wind the crown clockwise approximately 20-30 times in position 1 (fully pushed in and screwed down) to initiate movement. The automatic movement will then continue to wind with wrist motion during wear.

2. Pull the crown out to position 3. This will stop the second hand.

4. Once the time is set, push the crown back to position 1 and screw it down clockwise firmly against the case to ensure water resistance.

4. Funcionamiento del reloj

4.1 Using the Uni-directional Rotating Bezel

The watch features a uni-directional rotating bezel, designed for timing events, particularly dive times. To use:

1. Rotate the bezel counter-clockwise to align the zero marker (triangle) with the minute hand at the start of the event you wish to time.
2. The elapsed time can then be read against the bezel markings as the minute hand progresses.
3. The uni-directional design ensures that if the bezel is accidentally moved, it will only indicate a longer elapsed time, preventing a false reading for critical timing.

4.2 Resistencia al agua

Your Oris Aquis watch is water-resistant up to 300 meters (1000 feet). This makes it suitable for professional marine activity and serious surface water sports, but not for saturation diving. To maintain water resistance:

• El reloj deja de funcionar: If the watch stops, it may need manual winding. Wind the crown approximately 20-30 times in position 1. If the issue persists after regular wear, the watch may require servicing.
• Fecha sin cambios: Ensure the time is set correctly for AM/PM. If the date still does not change or changes at noon, re-adjust the time and date. If the issue persists, avoid manually forcing it and consult an authorized service center.
