The Elgato Cam Link 4K is an external capture card designed to transform your DSLR, mirrorless camera, camcorder, or action camera into a high-quality webcam. It enables streaming and recording in resolutions up to 1080p60 or 4K30, and even 4K60 with compatible cameras and the latest Cam Link 4K models. This device offers ultra-low latency, ensuring your video and audio remain synchronized. It is compatible with PC, Mac, and iPad (with USB-C port) and integrates seamlessly with popular applications like OBS Studio, Zoom, and Discord.

Configuración

Follow these steps to set up your Elgato Cam Link 4K:

  1. Prepare su cámara: Ensure your DSLR, mirrorless camera, camcorder, or action camera has a clean HDMI output. This means the HDMI feed should not display any camera interface elements like menus or settings.
  2. Conecte el cable HDMI: Connect one end of an HDMI cable (not included) to your camera's HDMI output port.
  3. Connect Cam Link 4K: Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI input port on the Elgato Cam Link 4K device.
  4. Connect to Computer/iPad: Plug the USB 3.0 connector of the Cam Link 4K (or its extension cable) into an available USB 3.x port on your computer (PC or Mac) or iPad (with USB-C port).
  5. Encendido: Turn on your camera and ensure it is set to output video via HDMI.
