5.1. 6-Way Valve Functions

The 6-way valve allows you to select different operating modes. Always turn off the pump before changing the valve position.

• FILTRAR: This is the standard operating mode for daily pool water filtration. Water flows through the sand/glass media, removing impurities, and returns to the pool.
• RESACA: Used to clean the filter media. Water flows in reverse through the sand/glass, dislodging trapped debris, and is discharged through the waste port. Perform backwash when the pressure gauge indicates high pressure (typically 8-10 PSI above normal operating pressure).
• ENJUAGUE: Used after backwashing to flush out any remaining debris from the filter media and settle the sand/glass. Water flows through the filter and is discharged through the waste port.
• DESPERDICIAR: Bypasses the filter and sends water directly out the waste port. Useful for vacuuming heavy debris directly to waste or lowering the pool water level.
