5. Configuración

1. Desembalaje: Carefully remove the evaporative cooler and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Colocación: Place the unit on a firm, level surface in the desired room. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper airflow (at least 20 cm from walls or furniture).
3. Llena el tanque de agua:
   • Locate the removable water tank at the bottom front of the unit.
   • Saque el tanque con cuidado.
   • Fill the tank with clean, cool tap water. Do not exceed the "MAX" fill line.
   • Para una mejor refrigeración, coloque los paquetes de hielo provistos (después de congelarlos) en el tanque de agua.
   • Deslice el tanque de agua nuevamente dentro de la unidad hasta que encaje firmemente en su lugar.

6. Instrucciones de funcionamiento

The Cecotec EnergySilence 2000 Cool Tower Smart can be operated using either the touch control panel on top of the unit or the included remote control.

6.1. Control Panel / Remote Control Functions

• Botón de encendido (⏻): Pulse para encender o apagar la unidad.
• Botón de velocidad (≡): Recorre 3 velocidades del ventilador: Baja, Media, Alta.
• Botón de modo (☼): Selects operating mode:
  • Normal: Flujo de aire constante a la velocidad seleccionada.
  • Dormir: Reduces fan speed and noise for quiet operation, ideal for nighttime.
  • Eco: Optimizes power consumption for energy efficiency.
• Botón de oscilación (↻): Activates or deactivates the 60-degree oscillation function, distributing air more widely.
• Botón del temporizador (⏱): Sets the auto-off timer in 1-hour increments, up to 8 hours. Each press adds 1 hour.
• Botón de enfriamiento/humidificación (💧): Activates or deactivates the evaporative cooling function (water pump).

6.2. Operación inicial

1. Ensure the water tank is filled and the unit is plugged in.
2. Press the Power button to turn on the unit. The LED display will show the ambient temperature.
3. Press the Cooling/Humidification button to activate the evaporative cooling function.
4. Ajuste la velocidad del ventilador usando el botón Velocidad.
5. Select a mode (Normal, Sleep, Eco) using the Mode button.
6. Activate oscillation if desired using the Oscillation button.
7. Set the timer if you want the unit to turn off automatically after a set period.

7. Mantenimiento

  • Clean the water tank at least once a week, or more frequently if used daily.
• Limpieza del filtro de aire:
  • The air filter is located at the rear of the unit.
  • Retire suavemente el filtro.
  • Clean the filter with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris. If heavily soiled, rinse with water and mild detergent, then allow to dry completely before reinserting.
  • Clean the air filter every two weeks, or as needed.
• Limpieza exterior: Limpie el exterior de la unidad con un paño suave yamp Paño. No utilice limpiadores abrasivos ni disolventes.
• Almacenamiento: Si va a guardar la unidad durante un período prolongado, asegúrese de que el depósito de agua esté vacío y limpio, y que la unidad esté seca. Guárdela en un lugar fresco y seco.
