4. Configuración

4.1 Instalación de la batería

The DT33D multimeter requires one 9V (6F22) battery (not included) for operation.

1. Localice la tapa del compartimiento de la batería en la parte posterior del multímetro.
2. Deslice o desenrosque con cuidado la tapa para abrir el compartimento.
3. Inserte una batería nueva de 9 V, asegurándose de la polaridad correcta (+ y -).

4.2 Conexión de cables de prueba

The multimeter comes with a pair of test leads (red and black).

5.1 Vol. CCtage Medición (V–)

5.2 Vol. CAtage Medición (V∼)

5.3 Medición de corriente continua (A–)

Used for measuring direct current flowing through a circuit.

1. Importante: Disconnect power to the circuit before connecting the multimeter in series.
2. Set the rotary switch to the desired DC Current (A–) range (e.g., 2000uA, 20mA, 200mA, 10A).
3. Insert the red test lead into the appropriate current input jack ('VΩmA' for low current, '10A MAX' for high current).

5.4 Medición de resistencia (Ω)

Used for measuring the resistance of components.

1. Importante: Ensure the component is isolated from power and discharged before measuring resistance.
2. Set the rotary switch to the desired Resistance (Ω) range (e.g., 200Ω, 2kΩ, 20kΩ, 200kΩ, 2MΩ, 20MΩ).

5.5 Prueba de continuidad

Used to check for an open or closed circuit.

2. Set the rotary switch to the continuity (♪) position.
3. Touch the test leads together; the meter should beep and display a low resistance value.
4. Connect the test leads across the circuit or component you wish to test.
5. If the circuit is continuous (closed), the meter will beep and display a low resistance. If it is open, no beep will sound, and the display will show 'OL' (Over Limit).
