1. Introducción

Thank you for choosing the Cecotec BigDry 3000 Silent Electric Dehumidifier. This appliance is designed to effectively reduce humidity levels in your environment, preventing issues caused by excess moisture, and also features an air purification system. Please read this manual carefully before operating the device to ensure proper use, maintenance, and safety.

• Entrada de aire: Located on the sides, where humid air is drawn in.
• Salida de aire: Located on the top, where dehumidified and purified air is expelled.
• Panel de control: Touch-sensitive panel on the top for operating the unit.
• Tanque de agua: Depósito extraíble en la parte inferior para recoger el agua condensada.
• Filtros: Multi-layer filtration system (pre-filter, active carbon filter, high-efficiency filter) located behind the side panel.
• "Full Tank" Indicator: Light on the control panel that illuminates when the water tank is full.

5. Configuración

1. Desembalaje: Retire con cuidado el deshumidificador de su embalaje. Conserve el embalaje para su posterior almacenamiento o transporte.
2. Colocación: Place the dehumidifier on a flat, stable surface in the desired room. Ensure there is at least 20 cm of clear space around all sides of the unit for proper airflow. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
3. Filter Installation/Check: Before first use, ensure all filters (pre-filter, active carbon, high-efficiency) are correctly installed in their designated slots. Refer to Figure 4.3 for filter location.

6. Instrucciones de funcionamiento

The Cecotec BigDry 3000 features a touch control panel for easy operation.

6.1 Encendido y apagado

• Para girar la unidad ON, touch the Power button on the control panel. The unit will start operating in its default mode.
• Para girar la unidad APAGADO, toque el botón de Encendido nuevamente.

6.2 Ajuste de la velocidad del ventilador

The dehumidifier offers 3 fan speeds: Low, Medium, and High. Adjust the speed according to your needs and desired dehumidification rate.

• Touch the Speed button on the control panel to cycle through the available speeds.
• The corresponding indicator light on the panel will show the selected speed.

6.3 Air Purification Function

The unit continuously purifies the air through its 3-stage filtration system while operating.

6.4 Full Tank Indicator

• When the water tank is full, the "Full Tank" indicator light on the control panel will illuminate, and the unit will automatically stop operating to prevent overflow.
• Empty the water tank as described in the Maintenance section to resume operation.

7. Mantenimiento

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your dehumidifier. Always unplug the unit before cleaning or performing any maintenance.

7.1 Vaciado del tanque de agua

1. When the "Full Tank" indicator lights up, gently pull out the water tank from the bottom of the unit.
2. Lleve con cuidado el tanque a un fregadero o desagüe y vacíe el agua acumulada.
3. Rinse the tank with clean water if necessary and wipe it dry.
4. Deslice el depósito de agua vacío de nuevo en la unidad hasta que encaje en su lugar. La unidad reanudará su funcionamiento automáticamente.

7.2 Limpieza del exterior de la unidad

• Limpie el exterior del deshumidificador con un paño suave yamp paño.
• No utilice limpiadores abrasivos, disolventes o productos químicos agresivos, ya que pueden dañar la superficie.

7.3 Limpieza y reemplazo del filtro

The dehumidifier uses a multi-stage filtration system. Regular cleaning of the pre-filter and periodic replacement of the active carbon and high-efficiency filters are recommended.

1. Locate the filter access panel on the side of the unit (refer to Figure 4.3).
2. Gently open the panel and remove the filters.
3. Prefiltro: This filter can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner or rinsed with water. Ensure it is completely dry before reinserting.
4. Active Carbon Filter & High-Efficiency Filter: These filters are not washable and should be replaced periodically (e.g., every 6-12 months, depending on usage and air quality). Contact Cecotec customer support for replacement filters.
5. Reinsert the filters in the correct order and close the access panel securely.
