Configuración

Carga de la batería:

1. Ensure your Kobalt 40V charger (e.g., KRC60-06 / KRC40-06 / KRC 840-03) is plugged into a standard power outlet.
2. Align the battery with the charger's slot.
3. Deslice la batería sobre el cargador hasta que encaje firmemente en su lugar.
4. The charge indicator lights on the battery will blink green during charging.
5. Once fully charged, the indicator lights will show a steady green.
6. To remove, press the release button on the battery and slide it off the charger.

Instrucciones de funcionamiento

Instalación de la batería en una herramienta:

1. Asegúrese de que la herramienta esté apagada y desconectada de cualquier fuente de alimentación.
2. Align the battery with the battery port on your Kobalt 40V tool.
3. Slide the battery into the tool until it clicks securely into place. A firm click indicates proper installation.
4. To check the battery charge level, press the indicator button on the battery. The illuminated bars will show the remaining capacity (e.g., 1 bar = 25% power).

Removing the Battery from a Tool:

1. Asegúrese de que la herramienta esté apagada.

Mantenimiento

• Keep the battery clean and free of debris. Use a clean, dry cloth to wipe the battery and its terminals.
• Guarde la batería en un lugar fresco y seco, alejado de la luz solar directa y de temperaturas extremas.
• Para un almacenamiento prolongado, se recomienda almacenar la batería con una carga parcial (alrededor del 50%). Descargarla o cargarla completamente durante períodos prolongados puede reducir su vida útil.
• Avoid storing the battery in areas where metal objects could short-circuit the terminals.
• Do not attempt to repair or modify the battery. Contact customer support for assistance.
