3. Configuración y primer uso
3.1. Instalación de la batería
Your Decathlon 100 scale typically uses standard AAA batteries (not always included). Follow these steps to install or replace batteries:
- Gire la báscula para acceder al compartimento de la batería en la parte inferior.
- Abra la tapa del compartimiento de la batería.
- Inserte las pilas, asegurándose de la polaridad correcta (+ y -) como se indica dentro del compartimento.
- Cierre bien la tapa del compartimento de la batería.
3.2. Calibración inicial
For accurate readings, it is recommended to perform an initial calibration:
- Coloque la báscula sobre una superficie dura y plana.
- Gently step on the scale with one foot, then immediately step off. The display should show "0.0" or flash briefly before turning off. This indicates the scale has calibrated itself.
- Your scale is now ready for use.

4. Instrucciones de funcionamiento
4.1. Tomando una medida
- Asegúrese de que la báscula esté sobre una superficie dura y plana.
- Gently step onto the scale with bare feet, distributing your weight evenly.
- Permanezca quieto hasta que su peso se muestre y se estabilice en la pantalla LCD.
- Step off the scale. The display will hold your weight for a few seconds before turning off automatically.
4.2. Unit Conversion (if applicable)
Some models may have a unit conversion button (usually on the underside near the battery compartment) to switch between kilograms (kg), pounds (lb), or stones (st). Press this button to cycle through the available units.
