Configuración

Instalación de Eurorack

The CLOCKED SEQUENTIAL CONTROL MODULE 1027 is designed for installation into a standard Eurorack case. Ensure your Eurorack case has sufficient power and space (16 HP width) before installation.

  1. Apagado: Always disconnect power from your Eurorack case before installing or removing any modules.
  2. Montaje: Align the module with an available 16 HP space in your Eurorack case. Secure it using the provided screws.
  3. Conexión de energía: Connect the 16-pin power cable from your Eurorack power supply to the module's power header. Ensure the red stripe on the cable aligns with the -12V pin on both the module and the power supply. Incorrect connection can damage the module and/or power supply.
  4. Encendido: Once securely mounted and connected, you can power on your Eurorack case.

Conexiones iniciales

To begin using the 1027, connect its outputs to other modules in your Eurorack system. Common connections include:

  • Clock Input (CLK IN): Connect a clock signal from another module (e.g., an LFO or clock divider) to the CLK IN jack to drive the sequencer.
  • CV Outputs (CH A, CH B, CH C): Patch these outputs to the CV inputs of oscillators, filters, or other modules to control pitch, cutoff, or other parameters.
  • Gate Outputs (POSITION GATES 1-8): Connect these to gate inputs of envelope generators or drum modules to trigger events at specific steps.

Instrucciones de funcionamiento

Encimaview de Controles

The 1027 module features a clear layout of controls for intuitive sequencing:

  • Perilla de velocidad: Adjusts the speed of the internal clock. The range switch (LOW/HIGH) selects the clock speed range.
  • PULSE WIDTH Knob: Controls the width of the gate pulses. The switch (INT/EXT) selects between internal control or external CV control.
  • Interruptor encendido / apagado: Toggles the sequencer's operation.
  • STEP Buttons (1-8): Each step has a corresponding button to activate/deactivate it.
  • CV Knobs (A, B, C for each step): Adjust the control voltage output for each of the three channels (A, B, C) at each step.
  • POSITION GATES (1-8): Individual gate outputs for each step.
  • STEP/RESET Buttons: Manual step advance and reset functions.

Creating a Sequence

  1. Configurar reloj: Utilice el TASA perilla y BAJO/ALTO switch to set the desired tempo. Alternatively, connect an external clock to the CLK EN Jacobo.
  2. Activate Steps: Presione el PASO buttons (1-8) to activate the desired number of steps in your sequence. Active steps will typically illuminate.
  3. Adjust CV: For each active step, turn the CV Knobs (A, B, C) para configurar el volumentage level for each channel. These voltages will be outputted sequentially.
  4. Configure Gates: El PUERTAS DE POSICION will output a pulse when their corresponding step is active. Use these to trigger envelopes or other events.
  5. Inicio/Parada: Utilice el ENCENDIDO/APAGADO switch to start and stop the sequence.

Funciones avanzadas

  • External Pulse Width Control: Connect a CV source to the EXT input for the PULSE WIDTH section to dynamically control the gate pulse width.
  • Manual Step/Reset: El PASO y REINICIAR buttons allow for manual control over the sequence progression, useful for live performance or precise programming.

Mantenimiento

Limpieza

To maintain the appearance and functionality of your module:

  • Always power off your Eurorack system before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the module's surface.
  • Para suciedad difícil, ligeramente dampEnjuague el paño con agua. Evite usar productos químicos agresivos o limpiadores abrasivos.
  • Do not allow any liquids to enter the module through jacks or openings.

Almacenamiento

When not in use for extended periods, store the module in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If removed from the Eurorack case, store it in anti-static packaging.

Solución de problemas

ProblemaPosible causaSolución
El módulo no se enciende.Incorrect power cable connection; Eurorack power supply off or faulty.Check power cable orientation (red stripe to -12V). Ensure Eurorack power supply is on and functioning correctly.
Sequencer not advancing steps. No clock signal; ON/OFF switch is OFF; RATE knob set too low.Connect a clock signal to CLK IN. Ensure ON/OFF switch is ON. Increase the RATE knob setting.
