4. Configuración

4.1. Instalación de la batería

The camera requires 4 x 1.5V LR6 AA batteries. For optimal performance and extended operation, it is recommended to use high-quality alkaline or rechargeable batteries.

1. Open the camera's latch on the side and gently open the housing.
2. Ubique el compartimiento de la batería.

4.2. Instalación de la tarjeta Micro SD

A Micro SD card (up to 32 GB) is required to store photos and videos. Ensure the card is formatted before first use.

2. Inserte la tarjeta Micro SD en la ranura hasta que encaje en su lugar.

4.3. Configuración inicial

The camera can be configured using a settings file on the Micro SD card via your computer. This allows for precise adjustment of parameters such as photo resolution, video resolution, time-lapse intervals, and more.

1. Insert the Micro SD card into your computer using the provided Micro SD card reader.
2. Accede a la configuración file (usually a text file or specific software) on the card.
3. Adjust desired settings according to your needs.
4. Guardar la configuración file back to the Micro SD card.
5. Safely eject the Micro SD card from your computer and insert it back into the camera.

4.4. Montaje de la cámara

Use the included mounting strap to secure the camera to a tree, pole, or other suitable surface. Ensure the camera is stable and pointed towards the desired monitoring area.

5. Operación de la cámara

5.1. Encendido / apagado

After installing batteries and the Micro SD card, locate the power switch inside the camera housing. Switch it to the "ON" position to activate the camera. To turn off, switch it to "OFF".

5.2. Modos de funcionamiento

The camera supports various operating modes, which can be configured via the settings file:

• Modo foto: Captures still images. Resolutions include 20 MP, 16 MP, and 12 MP.
• Modo de vídeo: Records video clips. Resolutions include 1080p, 720p, and VGA.

5.3. Detección y grabación de movimiento

The camera utilizes a Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor to detect motion. When motion is detected within its 90° field of view, the camera will trigger and record based on your configured settings.

• LED IR: For low-light or nighttime conditions, 26 850nm IR LEDs provide illumination up to 20 meters (optimal illumination 6-8 meters).
• Shot Series: Configure the number of photos taken per trigger (1, 3, 6, or 9 shots).

1. Turn off the camera and remove the Micro SD card.
2. Insert the Micro SD card into your computer using the card reader.

6. Mantenimiento

6.1. Limpieza

Limpie el exterior de la cámara con un paño suave.amp cloth. Ensure the lens and PIR sensor are clean and free from dirt or debris for optimal performance. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

6.2. Reemplazo de la batería

Reemplace las baterías cuando aparezca el indicador de batería baja o cuando el rendimiento disminuya. Siempre reemplace todas las baterías a la vez por otras nuevas del mismo tipo.

6.3. Almacenamiento

When not in use for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage. Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
