2. Información de seguridad
Always prioritize safety when operating power tools. Failure to follow these safety guidelines may result in serious injury or property damage.
- Protección ocular: Always wear ANSI-approved safety goggles or a face shield to protect against abrasive particles.
- Protección respiratoria: Use an approved respirator to prevent inhalation of dust and abrasive media.
- Protección de mano: Wear heavy-duty gloves to protect hands from abrasive materials and potential injury.
- Protección auditiva: Prolonged exposure to noise from air compressors and sandblasting can cause hearing damage. Wear ear protection.
- Ventilación: Operate the sandblaster in a well-ventilated area to disperse dust and fumes. Avoid enclosed spaces.
- Compresor de aire: Ensure your air compressor is rated for the required working pressure and air consumption (10.0 bar, 320-420 L/min). Always follow the compressor manufacturer's safety instructions.
- Material abrasivo: Use only recommended abrasive media. Never use silica sand, as it can cause silicosis, a severe lung disease.
- Pieza de trabajo segura: Ensure the item being sandblasted is stable and securely held to prevent movement during operation.
- Desconectar el aire: Always disconnect the air supply before performing any maintenance, cleaning, or changing parts.
- Niños y transeúntes: Mantenga a los niños y transeúntes alejados del área de trabajo.
