Cleaning the Aluminum Grease Filter

The 5-layer aluminum grease filter should be cleaned regularly (approximately every 2-4 weeks, depending on usage) to maintain effective grease capture. It is dishwasher safe.

  2. Remove the grease filter by releasing its latches.
  3. Wash the filter by hand with warm soapy water or place it in a dishwasher.

Replacing the Carbon Filters

If your hood is operating in recirculation mode, the two Ø176 carbon filters need to be replaced periodically (typically every 3-6 months, depending on usage) as they cannot be washed.

  1. Turn off and unplug the hood.
