This product is a single ES2900 storage module intended for extending an existing ECS2900 storage system. A standalone battery module cannot be connected directly to an inverter. Up to 7 battery modules can be connected in series to expand your system capacity.

2. Información de seguridad

Always read and understand all safety instructions before installing, operating, or maintaining the battery storage system. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, serious injury, or death.

  • Ensure proper ventilation around the battery system.

3. Configuración e instalación

The Fox-ESS CS2900 V2.0 battery module is designed for simple plug-and-play installation. It can be installed both outdoors and indoors, in a standing position.

3.1. Identificación del módulo

Ensure you are using the correct version and connector type for your system. This product is the V2.0, Model A. BMS V1.0 is not compatible with V2.0 batteries. There are two types of connectors, A and B, which cannot be mixed.

3.2. Puntos de conexión

Familiarize yourself with the connection points on the battery module:

  • Bat -: Negative battery terminal.

3.3. Instalación Física

When installing the battery module, ensure adequate clearance for ventilation and access. Maintain a minimum distance of 20mm from walls on the sides and 300mm from the front and back.

For stacking multiple modules, carefully align and insert one module onto another. Up to 7 modules can be connected in series.

Each module features a handle for easier transport and positioning, a battery mounting hole, and an operating status LED.

4. Operación

Once properly installed and connected to a compatible inverter system (not included with this slave module), the Fox-ESS CS2900 V2.0 battery module operates automatically as part of the larger energy storage system.

  • The operating status LED will indicate the current state of the battery. Refer to your main system's manual for specific LED indicator meanings.
  • The battery management system (BMS) within the main system will manage charging and discharging cycles to optimize performance and lifespan.

5. Mantenimiento

The Fox-ESS CS2900 V2.0 battery module is designed for minimal maintenance. However, regular checks are recommended to ensure optimal performance and safety.

  • Inspección visual: Periodically inspect the battery module for any signs of damage, corrosion, or loose connections.
  • Limpieza: Keep the exterior of the battery module clean and free from dust and debris. Use a dry, soft cloth for cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners.
  • Ventilación: Ensure that the ventilation areas are not obstructed.
  • Temperatura: Operate the battery within the specified temperature range (-20 to 55 °C) to maximize lifespan.

6. Solución de problemas
