1. Introducción

Thank you for choosing the DCOLOR Digital Converter Box. This device allows you to receive and record free over-the-air (OTA) digital television broadcasts. Its compact design and versatile features make it an ideal solution for modernizing older TVs, connecting to projectors, or simply enhancing your viewing experience with DVR capabilities.

3.1. Device Ports and Features

• Salida HDMI: Connects to your TV, monitor, or projector for high-definition video and audio.
• Entrada USB 2.0: Used for connecting a USB drive for DVR recording and media playback.
• Power Supply Interface (DC 5V): Connects the device to power via the provided USB to DC cable.
• Infrared (IR) Connection: Port for the external IR receiver, allowing remote control even when the box is hidden.
• Entrada de antena: Connect your over-the-air antenna here to receive digital broadcasts.

The included remote control is designed to simplify your entertainment setup. It can learn basic functions from your existing TV remote, allowing you to control both your TV and the converter box with a single device. This reduces clutter and enhances user convenience.

1. Conectar la antena: Connect your digital TV antenna to the Antenna Input port (5) on the converter box.
2. Conecte HDMI: Plug one end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI Output port (1) on the converter box and the other end into an available HDMI input on your TV, monitor, or projector.
3. Conectar el receptor IR: Plug the IR Receiver cable into the IR Connection port (4). Position the IR receiver in a location where it has a clear line of sight to your remote control.
4. Encendido: Connect the USB to DC cable to the Power Supply Interface (3) on the converter box. Plug the USB end into a 5V USB port on your TV or use a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The device will power on automatically.
5. Seleccionar entrada: Turn on your TV/monitor and select the correct HDMI input source that the converter box is connected to.
6. Escaneo de canales: Upon first use, the device will prompt you to perform a channel scan. Follow the on-screen instructions to scan for available digital channels in your area. This process may take several minutes.

5. Instrucciones de funcionamiento

5.1. Channel Browsing and ViewEn

• Utilice el CH +/- buttons on the remote to navigate through channels.
• Presione el OK button to bring up the channel list and select a channel directly.
• Presione el INFORMACIÓN botón una vez para view current program information. Press it twice for detailed signal information.

5.2. Función de grabación DVR

• Insert a USB drive (not included) into the USB 2.0 Input port (2).
• Presione el REC button on the remote to start recording the current program. Press it again to stop.
• To schedule recordings, use the Guía electrónica de programas (Electronic Program Guide) or the MINUTERO botón.
• Presione el PVR button to access your recorded programs for playback.

5.3. Guía electrónica de programación (EPG)

• Presione el Guía electrónica de programas botón en el control remoto para view La Guía Electrónica de Programación.
• Browse through channels and upcoming programs. You can schedule recordings directly from the EPG.

5.4. Reproducción multimedia

• Inserte una unidad USB que contenga medios files (music, photos, videos) into the USB 2.0 Input port (2).
• Presione el MENÚ button and navigate to the Multimedia section to select Music, Photo, or Movie playback.

6. Solución de problemas

• Sin señal: Ensure your antenna is properly connected and positioned. Perform a new channel scan. Check the TV's input source.
• Problemas de grabación: Verify the USB drive is correctly inserted and has sufficient free space. Ensure the USB drive is formatted to a compatible file sistema (por ejemplo, FAT32, NTFS).
• El control remoto no responde: Check the IR receiver's connection and ensure it has a clear line of sight to the remote. Replace remote batteries if necessary.
• Problemas de visualización: Check the HDMI cable connection. Adjust resolution settings in the device's menu if the display is distorted.
