1. Introducción

This manual provides essential information for the safe operation, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your iScooter iX8 Electric Scooter. 2. Información de seguridad

Conducir un patinete eléctrico conlleva riesgos inherentes. Para minimizarlos, siga siempre las siguientes pautas de seguridad:

4. Configuración y preparación inicial

The iScooter iX8 arrives approximately 90% pre-assembled. Follow these steps for final assembly and initial preparation:

1. Desembalaje: Retire con cuidado el scooter y todos los componentes del embalaje.
2. Instalación del manillar: Attach the handlebars to the stem. Ensure they are securely fastened using the provided screws and screwdriver.
3. Despliegue del scooter: Locate the folding mechanism (usually a latch or lever near the base of the steering column). Release it and carefully raise the steering column until it locks into place. Ensure it is fully locked before use.
4. Ajuste de la altura del manillar: The handlebars are adjustable. Loosen the quick-release clamp on the steering column, adjust to a comfortable height, and then securely tighten the clamp.

5. Carga inicial de la batería: Before your first ride, fully charge the battery. Connect the charger to the scooter's charging port and then to a power outlet. The charging indicator on the charger will change color (e.g., red to green) when fully charged. New batteries typically reach optimal range after the second full charge cycle.

5. Instrucciones de funcionamiento

5.1 Encendido/apagado y pantalla

To power on the scooter, press and hold the power button on the Smart LCD screen. Press and hold again to power off. The display shows speed, battery level, and other riding information.

5.2 Speed Modes and Dual Motor Control

The iX8 features dual 1200W motors and multiple speed settings. You can switch between single and dual-drive modes. Speed options range up to 61 km/h in dual-drive mode. Use the control keyboard to select your desired speed mode (e.g., ECO, RACE, SPORT) and motor configuration.

5.3 Sistema de frenado

The scooter is equipped with dual disc brakes and electronic cut-off brakes for reliable stopping power. Always apply brakes smoothly and gradually to avoid sudden stops, especially at higher speeds or on uneven terrain.

5.4 Iluminación y señales de giro

The iX8 includes a bright U5 headlight, integrated turn signals, colorful deck side lights, and a rear safety tail light. Ensure all lights are on when riding in low-light conditions or at night. Use the turn signal button to indicate your direction changes.

5.5 Mecanismo de plegado

For storage and transport, the iX8 features a quick folding mechanism. To fold, ensure the scooter is powered off. Locate the folding latch/lever on the steering column, release it, and carefully fold the column down towards the deck until it locks into its folded position. Reverse the process to unfold.

5.6 Conducción en diversos terrenos

Equipped with 12-inch off-road pneumatic tires and dual suspension, the iX8 is designed to handle a variety of surfaces. While capable on rough trails, exercise caution and reduce speed when riding on uneven, slippery, or loose terrain.

6. Mantenimiento

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your iX8 scooter:

• Limpieza: Limpiar el patinete con publicidadamp Paño. No utilice agua a alta presión ni sumerja el scooter en agua.
• Cuidado de la batería:
  • Cargue la batería periódicamente, incluso si no está en uso, para mantener su salud.
  • Evite agotar completamente la batería.
  • Guarde el scooter en un lugar fresco y seco cuando no lo utilice durante períodos prolongados, con la batería cargada entre el 50 y el 70 % aproximadamente.
• Mantenimiento de neumáticos:
  • Compruebe la presión de los neumáticos antes de cada viaje.
  • Inspeccione los neumáticos para detectar desgaste, pinchazos o daños. Reemplace los neumáticos desgastados lo antes posible.
• Inspección de frenos: Regularly check the brake levers and disc brakes for proper function and wear. Adjust or replace brake components as needed.
