The Peplink MAX BR2 Pro is engineered for high-demand environments, providing reliable and fast internet connectivity. It features dual 2.5 Gbps WAN ports, four 10/100/1000M LAN ports, and two embedded x62 5G cellular modems with redundant SIM slots. This design ensures continuous connectivity and high throughput.

4. Configuración

4.1 Instalación de tarjetas SIM

  1. Locate the SIM card slots on the device. The MAX BR2 Pro features redundant SIM slots for each cellular modem.
  2. Insert your activated Nano-SIM cards into the designated slots. Ensure they are correctly oriented.

  3. Connect the GPS antenna to the "GPS" port.

4.3 Encendido del dispositivo

  1. Connect the 12V3A 4-Pin Power Supply to the "DC IN" port on the router.

  4. For vehicle applications, connect the industrial microfit connector to the vehicle's power system, utilizing the ignition sensing feature if desired.

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup, including setting up administrator credentials and configuring WAN connections.

5.1 WAN Management

The MAX BR2 Pro supports multiple WAN sources. You can configure primary and backup connections for seamless failover.

  • WAN celular: The dual 5G modems provide primary internet access. Configure APN settings and data limits via the web interfaz.
  • WAN Ethernet: Connect an Ethernet cable from an external modem or network to one of the 2.5 Gbps WAN ports.
  • Wi-Fi as WAN: The router can connect to an existing Wi-Fi network and use it as an internet source.
  • USB WAN: Connect a compatible USB modem for additional WAN redundancy.

6. Mantenimiento
