4. Configuración

4.1. Battery Installation (AAA)

For backup power, the radio supports 3 AAA batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment cover located on the back of the radio, insert the batteries according to the polarity markings, and close the cover securely.

4.2. Carga inicial

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the internal 12000mAh Li-ion battery using the Type-C cable. Connect the Type-C cable to the 'INPUT' port on the side of the radio and to a USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer). The 'CHARGING' indicator on the display will illuminate.

5. Instrucciones de funcionamiento

5.1. Operación de radio (Banda meteorológica AM/FM/NOAA)

  1. Encendido/apagado y volumen: Rotate the 'VOLUME' knob clockwise to turn the radio on and adjust the volume. Rotate counter-clockwise to turn off.
  2. Selección de banda: Use the 'FM AM WB' switch to select between FM, AM, or Weather Band (WB) modes.
  3. Sintonización: Extend the telescopic antenna for better reception. Rotate the 'TUNING' knob on the side of the radio to find your desired station or weather channel. The frequency display will show the current band.
  4. Weather Band Channels: In WB mode, use the 'WEATHER BAND' knob to select specific NOAA weather channels (1-7).

5.2. Flashlight & Reading Lamp

  • Flash: Press the 'FLASHLIGHT' button once for low brightness, a second time for high brightness, and a third time to turn it off.

5.3. Alarma SOS

In an emergency, press the 'SOS' button to activate a loud 120dB siren and a flashing red beacon. Press the 'SOS' button again to deactivate.

5.4. Funcionalidad del banco de energía

Connect your smartphone or other small USB-powered devices to the 'OUTPUT' USB-A or USB-C ports on the side of the radio using your device's charging cable. The radio's internal battery will provide power to your device.

5.5. Carga de la radio

  • Carga tipo C: Use the provided Type-C cable to charge the radio from a standard USB power source.
  • Carga solar: Place the radio with the solar panel facing direct sunlight. The solar panel can be angled for optimal sun exposure.
  • Carga de manivela: Unfold the hand crank handle on the back of the radio and rotate it clockwise or counter-clockwise for manual power generation.
  • Alimentación por batería AAA: Insert 3 AAA batteries into the compartment on the back. Use the 'LI-ION / AAA' switch to select the desired power source.

7. Solución de problemas

  • Sin señal de radio: Extend the telescopic antenna fully. Try repositioning the radio or adjusting the tuning knob slowly. Ensure you are in an area with reception.
  • Radio Not Turning On: Check the 'LI-ION / AAA' switch to ensure the correct power source is selected. If using the internal battery, ensure it is charged. If using AAA batteries, ensure they are correctly installed and not depleted.
  • Dispositivo externo no se carga: Ensure the radio's internal battery has sufficient charge. Verify the charging cable is securely connected to both the radio's 'OUTPUT' port and your device.
