1. Introducción

The XTEINK X3 is a compact and lightweight 3.7-inch E-Ink eReader designed for portable, distraction-free reading. This manual provides essential information on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your device to ensure an optimal reading experience.

3.1 Características físicas

The XTEINK X3 features a 3.7-inch E-Ink display with 259 PPI, providing a clear, paper-like reading experience. It is ultra-thin at 5.1mm and weighs approximately 58g, making it highly portable.

3.2 Controles y navegación

The device incorporates both physical buttons and a gyroscope for page-turning. Physical buttons are located at the bottom for navigation and selection, while the gyroscope allows for page turns by shaking the device.

3.3 Magnetic-Ready Design and Charging

The X3 features a magnetic-ready design, allowing it to attach to compatible surfaces or phone cases using the included adhesive metal ring. Charging is facilitated via magnetic pogo-pins, maintaining a minimalist aesthetic.

3.4 Almacenamiento y duración de la batería

The device comes with 16GB of built-in storage, expandable up to 256GB with a MicroSD card. A full charge provides up to 10 hours of reading time, supporting approximately one week of casual reading.

4. Configuración

4.1 Carga inicial

Before first use, fully charge your XTEINK X3. Use a locally certified charger. During charging, ensure no conductive objects come into contact with the pogo-pin contacts to prevent short circuits.

4.2 Encendido / Apagado

To power on, press and hold the power button until the screen activates. To power off, press and hold the power button and follow the on-screen prompts.

4.3 File Transferir

Books, manga, and other files can be transferred to your X3 using several methods:

• Phone Transfer: Utilize the companion mobile application for wireless transfer.
• Transferencia de PC: Connect the device to a computer via a compatible cable (not included) and transfer files directamente.
• SD Card Transfer: Carga files onto a MicroSD card and insert it into the device.
• App Transfer: Use the XTEINK application for content management.
• Hotspot Transfer: Transferir files over a local Wi-Fi hotspot.

4.4 Configuración wifi

The device supports Wi-Fi connectivity for content management and updates. Access Wi-Fi settings through the device menu to connect to available networks.

The E-Ink display is designed to mimic paper, reducing eye strain and providing a distraction-free environment. Focus solely on your content without notifications or social media interruptions.

5.2 Pasar página

Turn pages using either the physical buttons located at the bottom of the device or by gently shaking the device, utilizing its gyroscope feature.

5.3 Customization and Display Modes

Beyond reading, the X3 can display photos and function as a clock. These personalized display modes offer flexibility for various uses.

5.4 Formatos admitidos

The XTEINK X3 supports common eBook formats including EPUB, TXT, PDF, and MOBI. For optimal viewing of PDF files, conversion to a more eReader-friendly format may be recommended.

6. Mantenimiento

6.1 Limpieza

To clean the device, use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Avoid using liquid cleaners, aerosols, or solvents, as these can damage the screen and internal components.

To prolong battery life, avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures. Charge the device regularly, but avoid leaving it fully discharged for extended periods. Always use a certified charger.

7. Solución de problemas

7.1 El dispositivo es lento o no responde

If the device appears slow, particularly when opening new books or navigating image-heavy pages, this is a characteristic of E-Ink technology. If it becomes unresponsive, try restarting the device by holding the power button.

7.2 Screen Does Not Light Up

The XTEINK X3 does not feature a built-in backlight. It relies on ambient light for reading, similar to a physical book.

7.3 Cannot Read PDF Files Properly

While the X3 supports PDF, the small screen size may make some PDF documents difficult to read. Consider converting PDF files to EPUB or TXT format for a better reading experience.

7.4 Problemas de carga

Ensure the magnetic pogo-pins on both the device and the charger are clean and free from debris. Verify that the charger is properly connected and functioning.
