1. Introducción

The CNC YCT8-M series multifunction time delay relay is designed for various electrical control applications, offering precise timing functions for appliances, heating, motors, pumps, and fans. 4. Configuración e instalación

4.1 Montaje

The YCT8-M series time delay relay is designed for DIN rail mounting (EN/IEC 60715). Ensure the DIN rail is securely installed in your electrical enclosure.

4.2 Cableado

Refer to the wiring diagram below for proper connection. Ensure all connections are tight and correct before applying power.

  • A1, A2: Supply Terminals (AC230V)
  • S: Trigger Terminal
  • 15, 16, 18: 1SPDT Output (16A/AC1) - Common, Normally Closed, Normally Open
  • 25, 26, 28: 2SPDT Output (for YCT8-M2 only) - Common, Normally Closed, Normally Open
  • Un (LED verde): Supply Indication

Max. Cable Size: Solid wire max. 1x2.5mm² or 2x1.5mm² (AWG 12) with sleeve max. 1x2.5mm².

5. Instrucciones de funcionamiento

5.1 Selección del rango de tiempo

The device offers 10 time ranges, selectable via the top rotary switch. The ranges span from 0.1 seconds to 10 days.

5.2 Time Percentage Configuración

The middle rotary switch allows for fine-tuning the time within the selected range, from 10% to 100% of the maximum value of the chosen time range.

5.3 Selección de función

The bottom rotary switch selects one of the 10 available functions (A-J). Each function defines how the relay operates based on supply voltage (Un) and trigger input (S).

  1. A: Retardo de encendido (Encendido)

  2. B: External (Power On)

    Vol de entradatage Un must be applied continuously. When trigger switch S is closed, relay contacts R change state immediately. When trigger switch S is opened, time delay t begins. When time delay t is complete, then time is reset. When trigger switch S is opened, the delay begins again, and relay contacts R remain in their energized state. If input voltage Un is removed, relay contacts R return to their shelf state.
  6. F: Disparo único

During time-out the trigger signal S is ignored. The relay resets by applying the trigger switch S when the relay is not energized.

6. Mantenimiento

The YCT8-M series time delay relay is designed for long-term, reliable operation with minimal maintenance. However, periodic checks are recommended:
