This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your SMTKEY H.265 Motion Detect Onvif 4MP or 8MP POE or 12V 3.6mm IPC Waterproof Day Night Metal Box IP network Camera. Configuración e instalación

1. Instalación Física

The SMTKEY IP Camera is designed for both indoor and outdoor use, featuring a waterproof metal casing. Choose a suitable location that provides the desired viewing angle and is within reach of power and network connections.

2. Conexión de energía y red

La cámara admite dos opciones de energía:

• Alimentación DC12V: Connect a standard DC12V power adapter to the camera's DC power input.
• POE48V Power: If your network switch or NVR supports Power over Ethernet (POE), connect a POE cable directly to the camera's Ethernet port. This provides both power and data through a single cable.

Connect the camera to your network using an Ethernet cable. The camera is an IP/Network Wired device.

Instrucciones de funcionamiento

1. Mobile App (XMEYE / iCSee)

The camera can be managed and viewed remotely using a mobile application. The recommended app is "XMEYE" or "iCSee".

1. Descargar la aplicación:
   • For Android devices, scan the QR code on page 1 of the PDF manual or visit www.xmeye.net para descargar.
   • For iPhone (iOS) devices, search for "Xmeye" or "iCSee" in the App Store and download.
2. Iniciar sesión en la aplicación:
   • Run the app. You can choose "Local Login" to view without a user account, or "Register" a new account for cloud features.

3. Agregar dispositivo:
   • In the app, use the "Search" function to find the IPC on your local network.
   • Alternatively, scan the QR code (usually found on the camera or packaging) to add the IPC.

2. PC Software (CMS)

For PC-based management and viewing, use the CMS (Central Management Software).

1. Download CMS:
   • Download the CMS software from http://www.xiongmaitech.com/en/index.php/service/down_detail/83/198.
   • Ensure to select "English" during installation.
2. Login to CMS:
   • Inicie el software CMS.
   • On the login page, you do not need to input anything; just click "Login".

3. Add Camera in CMS:
   • Navigate to "System" > "Device Manager".
   • Click "ADD AREA" and create a name (e.g., "IPC").
   • Under the newly created area, use the "Search" function to find and add your camera's IP address.

3. Web Browser Access (IE WEB View)

You can also access the camera's interface directly via a web navegador.

1. Open Internet Explorer (IE) browser.
2. Input the camera's IP address (e.g., 192.168.1.XXX) en la barra de direcciones.

Problem: Camera image quality is poor, especially at night.

• Iluminación insuficiente: Ensure there is adequate ambient light for the camera's night vision to function optimally. While the camera has color night vision, extreme darkness can still affect quality.
• Lente sucia: Clean the camera lens carefully with a soft cloth to remove any dust or smudges.
• Infrared (IR) Reflection: If the camera is mounted too close to a wall or reflective surface, the IR lights might bounce back, causing a washed-out image. Adjust the camera's position.
