This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the assembly, finishing, and care of your Academy 12248 Mirage III R Reconnaissance Aircraft 1/48 scale plastic model kit. Painting and Decals (Finishing)

7. Final Clear Coat: Apply a final matte, satin, or gloss clear coat to seal the decals and weathering, protecting the finish.

Decal silvering (clear film visible around decals):

Apply decals over a gloss surface. Use decal setting solutions to help decals conform. Ensure all air bubbles are pressed out from under the decal.
