1. Introducción

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, setup, and operation of your Raex Tuya Wifi Electric Smart Curtain Motor. This smart motor system supports various control methods including remote control, APP control via Tuya, voice control with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, and timed control. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and use to ensure proper function and safety.

2. Contenido del paquete

Note: The cap of the drive box and loop are not included. If you require a specific track length not listed, please contact the seller for customization.

4. Instalación

4.1. Track Measurement

Accurate measurement is crucial for proper installation. Consider the installation space needed for the track (2CM-4CM).

• For full wall installation: Rod length = A - 4CM (where A is the full wall width).
• For non-full wall installation: Rod length = A + 60CM (where A is the window width).
• For U-shape or L-shape windows: Advise lengths of segments (e.g., AB, BC, CD). Currently, only 90° and 135° U-shapes are supported.

4.2. Opciones de montaje

The track supports both ceiling mounting and side wall mounting. By default, the system is shipped for ceiling mounting with a straight track and middle opening. If you require single opening or side wall mounting, please contact the seller.

• Montaje en techo: Can be installed with or without a curtain box.
• Side Wall Mounting: Can only be installed without a curtain box.

4.3. Curtain Box Space Requirements

• Single Track Electric Curtain: Inner diameter of the curtain box should be 10CM or more.
• Double Track Electric Curtain: Inner diameter of the curtain box should be 20CM or more.
• Single Track Curved Electric Curtain: Inner diameter of the curtain box should be 20CM or more.
• Double Track Curved Electric Curtain: Inner diameter of the curtain box should be 30CM or more.

4.4. Motor Placement and Curtain Opening Ways

The motor can be installed on either the left or the right side of the track. The system supports one-way (single open) or two-way (center open) opening and closing.

• Abierto único: Curtains open to the left or right side.

4.5. Notas importantes de instalación

• Install slip parts assembly before operating the track.
• Do NOT install the motor to the track until you can operate the track smoothly manually. Failure to do so may damage the belt.
• If you need U-type or L-type curtain track, please inform the seller for customization.

5. Configuración

5.1. Emparejamiento de control remoto

1. Press the motor's [Programming] button for 3 seconds until the LED indicator lights up.
2. Press the remote's [Channel Setting] button. The indicator light will flash red 3 times and then turn off. The code learning is successful.

5.2. Configuración de límites

5.2.1. Automatic Limit

After power connection, the motor will automatically set its limits during the first open or close operation. It will stop by locking at 0-10mm to the close position. If the track's direction is initially wrong, the automatic limit tolerance might be larger, but it will resume normal level after the direction is corrected. If power is cut during the motor's movement, it will resume limit setting after crashing to the end of the track for the first time.

5.2.2. Manual Limit Adjustment

1. Adjusting Down Limit: Long press the remote control [Close] + [Channel Setting] buttons simultaneously for 4 seconds. The motor will shake once, and the motor LED indicator light will stay on.
2. Manually move the curtain to the desired down limit position by pressing the remote control [Up] or [Down] buttons within 30 seconds.
3. Press the remote control [Channel Setting] button or the motor's [Programming] button to set the current position as the down limit point. The motor will shake once, and the motor LED indicator light will turn off.
4. Adjusting Up Limit: Long press the remote control [Up] + [Channel Setting] buttons simultaneously for 4 seconds. The motor will shake once, and the motor LED indicator light will stay on.
5. Manually move the curtain to the desired up limit position by pressing the remote control [Up] or [Down] buttons within 30 seconds.
6. Press the remote control [Channel Setting] button or the motor's [Programming] button to set the current position as the open limit point. The motor will shake once, and the motor LED indicator light will turn off.

5.3. Ajuste de velocidad

The motor's rated speed is 75r/min by default, but it can be adjusted:

• To set to 95r/min: Press [Channel Setting] button for 3 seconds, then press [Open] button for 3 seconds.
• To set to 85r/min: Press [Stop] button for 3 seconds.
• To set to 75r/min: Press [Pause] button for 3 seconds.

The motor LED light will flash 2 times to confirm the speed adjustment.

6. Instrucciones de funcionamiento

6.1. Operación de control remoto

• Press the [Open] button to open the curtain to its set open limit point.
• Press the [Close] button to close the curtain to its set close limit point.
• Press the [Stop] button to immediately stop the curtain during movement.
• Use the [75%], [50%], [25%] buttons to move the curtain to predefined intermediate stop positions.

6.2. Manual Pull Function

• Permitir: Long press the remote's [Stop] and [Up/Open] buttons for 3 seconds. The motor will swing once to confirm.
• Desactivar: Long press the remote's [Stop] and [Down/Close] buttons for 3 seconds. The motor will swing once to confirm.

7. Smart Control (Tuya App & Voice Assistants)

7.1. Tuya App Pairing

1. Abra la aplicación Tuya en su teléfono inteligente.
2. Tap the '+' icon in the upper right corner, then select 'Add Device'.
3. Choose 'Small Home Appliances' from the left menu, then select 'Curtain (Wi-Fi)'.
4. Confirm your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network information and select 'Next Step'.
5. On the motor, press the [Programming] button 4 times briefly, then long press it once until the motor indicator light flashes. Release the button.
6. In the app, confirm that the indicator light is flashing rapidly and proceed with pairing. The app will search for and connect to the motor.
7. Once connected, you can rename the device and access its control interface.

7.2. Control de la aplicación Tuya

Once paired, you can control your curtains from anywhere using the Tuya app. The app allows you to:

• Open and close the curtains completely.

7.3. Control por voz

The Raex smart curtain motor supports voice control through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. After linking your Tuya account with your voice assistant, you can use commands like "Alexa, open the curtain" or "Hey Google, close the curtain" to operate your blinds.

7.4. Timed Control

You can set schedules within the Tuya app for the curtains to open or close automatically at specific times, enhancing convenience and energy efficiency.

8. Mantenimiento

• Regularly inspect the curtain track for any obstructions or debris that might hinder smooth operation.
• Keep the track clean to prevent dust buildup from affecting the runners.
• Ensure all connections (power, track components) are secure.
• The motor is designed for quiet operation (<30dB). If unusual noises occur, check for obstructions or contact support.

9. Solución de problemas

9.1. Clearing Limits

If the curtain limits are incorrect or need to be reset, long press the remote control [Channel Setting] + [Stop] buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds. The motor will shake once, and the LED light will flash once to confirm that all limits have been cleared. You can then set new limits as described in Section 5.2.2.

9.2. Resetting Remote Channels / Factory Reset

To clear all paired remote channels and restore manual start settings, long press the motor's [Programming] button for 7 seconds.

9.3. Changing Motor Direction

If the curtain moves in the wrong direction:

• Method 1 (Remote): Press the motor [Programming] button for 3 seconds until the LED light turns on (learning mode). Then, press the remote's [Channel Left] and [Stop] buttons simultaneously. The LED will flash twice quickly and then turn off, indicating the direction change is complete.
• Method 2 (Programming Button): Short press the motor [Programming] button twice (light flashes), then long press it twice (LED on for 3s, then flashes twice and turns off). The direction change is complete.

9.4. Deleting App Pairing

If you need to unpair the motor from the Tuya app:

• Método 1: Delete the device directly within the Tuya app.
• Método 2: Perform a factory reset on the motor (as described in 9.2).
• Método 3: Re-enter the distribution mode (as described in 7.1) to disconnect the network.

10. Consejos para el usuario

• For optimal performance, ensure your Wi-Fi network is stable and within range of the motor.
• If you have multiple smart devices, consider organizing them into groups within the Tuya app for easier control.
• Regularly check for firmware updates for the motor via the Tuya app to ensure you have the latest features and improvements.

11. Garantía y soporte

This product comes with a 1-year Manufacturer's limited Warranty for defective items (excluding items damaged and/or misused after receipt). Accessories come with a 3-month warranty.

Defective items MUST be reported and returned within the warranty period (and in the original packaging, if possible). You must provide details of the defect and your order number. Repairs or replacements are not provided for items with an expired warranty.
