Winding the Winch
- Ensure the spring-loaded locking bar is engaged with the gear to prevent reverse movement.
- Attach the hook securely to the item being winched.
- Turn the handle clockwise to wind the webbing onto the drum. The ratchet mechanism will provide positive locking.
Releasing the Winch Line
- To release the line, push down on the spring-loaded release tab. This disengages the locking bar from the gear.
- While holding the release tab down, carefully unwind the line from the drum. Maintain control of the handle to prevent rapid unwinding.
- Once the desired length is released, ensure the locking bar re-engages with the gear before releasing el mango.
