4. Instrucciones de instalación
This product is intended for use with installed splice caps. Ensure power to the circuit is off before proceeding.

- Ensure the wire splice has been properly made and secured with a compatible splice cap (e.g., Buchanan 2006S).
- Place the IDEAL 2007 Splice Cap Insulator over the installed splice cap.

- Using diagonal cutters or other suitable pliers, cut up the side of the insulator skirt.
- Peel off the insulator body.
- Cut off the insulator retainer.
