3. Configuración

Follow these steps to set up your VTech CS6919-2 phone system.

3.1 Instalación y carga de la batería

1. Instale la batería: Open the battery compartment cover on the back of each handset. Connect the battery pack connector securely into the jack inside the compartment. Place the battery pack with the label "THIS SIDE UP" facing up. Close the battery compartment cover.
2. Cargar el teléfono: Place each handset face forward in its respective telephone base or charger. The CHARGE light on the handset will illuminate, indicating proper charging. Allow the handsets to charge for at least 16 hours before initial use. For optimal battery performance, keep the handsets in the charger when not in use.

3.2 Base Unit and Charger Connection

3. Connect the Telephone Base: Plug one end of the telephone line cord into the TEL LINE jack on the back of the telephone base. Plug the other end into a telephone wall jack.
4. Conecte el adaptador de corriente: Plug the small end of the power adapter into the POWER jack on the back of the telephone base. Plug the large end into a standard electrical outlet.

4. Instrucciones de funcionamiento

4.1 Funciones básicas de llamada

4.2 Identificador de llamadas

When you subscribe to Caller ID service, the caller's name and number will appear on the handset display. The phone stores information for the last 30 incoming calls.

4.3 Bloqueo de llamadas

The call block feature allows you to prevent calls from up to 20 specific numbers. This feature requires a Caller ID subscription.

• Add a Number to Call Block:

4.4 Handset Registration/Deregistration

Your handsets are pre-registered to the telephone base. If you purchase additional handsets or need to re-register a handset, follow these steps:

• Deregister Handsets: This is sometimes necessary before registering new handsets or if experiencing issues.
  1. On the telephone base, press and hold ENCONTRAR AURICULAR for about 10 seconds until the IN USE light on the base flashes.
  2. Presione inmediatamente ENCONTRAR AURICULAR again. All handsets registered to the base will be deregistered.
• Register a Handset:
  1. Coloque el auricular en la base del teléfono o en el cargador.
  2. On the telephone base, press and hold ENCONTRAR AURICULAR for about 4 seconds until the IN USE light on the base flashes. Release the button.
  3. En el auricular, presione # (pound key). The handset will display "Registering..." and then "Handset Registered" if successful.
