4.3 Cable Replacement Considerations

For some compatible models, the existing antenna cable may be sufficient. However, for other models, particularly those replacing Code Alarm and Prestige part 1181128, it may be necessary to replace the original antenna cable with the one included in this package. 4.4 Mounting the Antenna Unit

The antenna unit typically mounts on the vehicle's windshield or dashboard using the pre-applied 3M VHB adhesive. Choose a location that allows for optimal signal reception and is clear of obstructions. Ensure the surface is clean and dry before applying the adhesive.
