Configuración
Follow these steps for initial setup of your filter system:
- Desempaquetar componentes: Retire con cuidado todas las piezas del embalaje. Compruebe que todos los componentes estén presentes según la lista de empaque.
- Posicionar el sistema: Place the filter system on a firm, level surface near your pool, ensuring it is protected from direct weather exposure.
- Install Filter Balls: Open the filter tank and carefully pour the approximately 300g of filter balls into the tank. Ensure the central pipe is correctly positioned before closing the tank.
- Connect Pump to Filter Tank: Attach the pump unit to the filter tank using the provided connections. Ensure all seals are properly seated and connections are tightened to prevent leaks. It is recommended to use PTFE tape on threaded connections for a secure seal.
- Conectarse a la piscina: Connect the pool hoses to the filter system's inlet and outlet ports. The inlet hose typically connects from the pool skimmer/main drain to the pump's suction side, and the outlet hose connects from the filter's return side back to the pool.
- Llenar con agua: Before starting the pump, ensure the pool is filled with water and the filter system is primed by allowing water to flow into the pump and filter tank.
- Conexión eléctrica: Connect the power plug to a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is protected by a Residual Current Device (RCD) for safety.
Funcionamiento de la válvula de 7 vías
The 7-way valve controls the flow of water through the filter system. Always turn off the pump before changing the valve position.
- FILTRAR: This is the standard operating position for daily filtration. Water flows from the pool, through the filter balls, and back to the pool.
- RESACA: Used for cleaning the filter balls. Water flows in reverse through the filter, dislodging trapped debris, and is then directed to waste. Perform backwash when the pressure gauge indicates higher than normal pressure or when water flow decreases.
- ENJUAGUE: Used after backwashing to flush out any remaining debris from the filter and settle the filter balls. Water flows through the filter and is directed to waste.
- DESPERDICIAR: Bypasses the filter and sends water directly from the pool to waste. Useful for vacuuming heavy debris directly to waste or lowering the pool water level.
- RECIRCULAR: Circulates water through the pump and back to the pool without passing through the filter. Useful for distributing chemicals quickly.
- CERRADO: Shuts off all flow to the filter and pump. Use this position only when the pump is off and for maintenance or when the pool is not in use.
- PREPARAR PARA EL INVIERNO: (If applicable) Position for draining the system for winter storage. Consult specific winterization instructions.
Mantenimiento
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your filter system.
- Lavado a contracorriente: Perform backwashing regularly, typically once a week or when the pressure gauge reading increases by 0.2-0.3 bar (3-5 psi) above its clean operating pressure.
- Apague la bomba.
- Coloque la válvula de 7 vías en “RETROLAVADO”.
- Turn on the pump and run until the water in the sight glass (if present) runs clear (approx. 2-3 minutes).
- Cleaning Filter Balls: The filter balls can be cleaned manually or in a washing machine (in a laundry bag) at 30°C (86°F) without fabric softener. Replace filter balls when they show signs of significant wear or reduced filtration efficiency.
- Limpieza de la cesta de la bomba: Periodically check and clean the pump's pre-filter basket (if applicable) to remove large debris that could obstruct flow.
- Winterización: Before freezing temperatures, drain all water from the pump, filter tank, and hoses. Store the pump and valve in a dry, frost-free location.
