- Ensure the electrical outlet is a 120V GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) outlet and is properly grounded.

- Ensure your toilet is an elongated model. The K300 is specifically designed for elongated toilets.
- Confirm a 120V GFCI electrical outlet is available near the toilet. The power cord length is approximately 48 inches.
