2. Configuración
2.1 Unpacking the Phone

Nota: A power supply unit is No incluido with this phone. The phone is designed to be powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE) (802.3af compliant). If PoE is not available, a separate Alcatel-Lucent compatible power adapter must be purchased.
2.2 Conexión del teléfono
- Conectar el teléfono: Plug one end of the coiled handset cord into the handset and the other end into the handset port on the side of the phone base.
- Conectarse a la red/alimentación: Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the "LAN" port on the back of the phone and the other end to a PoE-enabled network switch or router. If not using PoE, connect the Ethernet cable to the "LAN" port and connect a compatible power adapter (sold separately) to the power input port.
- Conectar a la PC (opcional): If you wish to connect a computer through the phone, connect an Ethernet cable from your computer to the "PC" port on the back of the phone.
- Conectar auriculares (opcional): If using a headset, plug it into the 2.5mm headset jack on the side of the phone.
The phone will power on automatically once connected to a PoE source or external power adapter. It will then attempt to connect to your Alcatel OmniPCX system.
