2. Installing the Outdoor Transmitter (TX960-TH)
Open the battery compartment of the TX960-TH outdoor transmitter and insert 2 AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.
Colocación: Position the outdoor transmitter in a shaded area, protected from direct sunlight and rain, to ensure accurate temperature and humidity readings. It should be within effective range of the main unit (typically up to 30 meters in open air). Avoid placing it near large metal objects or electrical appliances that may interfere with the signal.
3. Initial Setup and Synchronization
Once both the main unit and the outdoor transmitter are powered, the main unit will automatically begin searching for the outdoor sensor signal. This process may take a few minutes. Ensure both units are relatively close during initial setup. The outdoor temperature and humidity readings should appear on the main unit's display once synchronized. The main unit will also attempt to receive the DCF 77 radio signal for automatic time synchronization.
4. Manual Time and Date Setting (if needed)
If the DCF 77 radio signal is not received or you prefer manual setting, refer to the specific button functions in the "Operating the Weather Station" section to adjust the time, date, and 12/24 hour format.
