5. Configuración e instalación

Follow these steps to properly install and connect your EPEVER MT50 Remote Meter to a compatible solar charge controller.

5.1. Mounting the MT50

  1. Choose a suitable location for the MT50 meter, ensuring it is easily accessible and visible.
  2. Use the provided mounting screws to secure the meter to a flat surface.
  3. Ensure the communication cable can reach the solar charge controller without excessive tension.

5.2. Connecting to the Solar Charge Controller

The MT50 connects to the solar charge controller via an RJ45 communication cable. This cable supplies power to the MT50 and facilitates data exchange.

  1. Locate the RS485 communication port on your EPEVER solar charge controller.
  2. Connect one end of the RJ45 communication cable to the MT50's RS485 port.
  3. Connect the other end of the RJ45 communication cable to the RS485 port on your solar charge controller.
  4. Once connected, the MT50 display should power on and show real-time data from the controller.

6. Instrucciones de funcionamiento

The MT50 provides various screens for monitoring and parameter settings. Use the navigation buttons (Esc, Up, Down, Left, Right, OK) to navigate through the menus and adjust settings.
