The Fanvil X5U features a robust design with clearly labeled buttons and two color displays for intuitive operation. Key components include:

5. Configuración

5.1 Conexión del teléfono

5.2 Configuración inicial

Upon first boot, the phone will attempt to obtain network settings via DHCP. If your network uses static IP addresses or requires specific SIP server details, you may need to configure these manually:

1. Access the phone's menu by pressing the Menú or OK botón.
2. Navegar a Ajustes > Configuración avanzada (you may need an administrator password).
3. Configurar Red settings (DHCP/Static IP) and Cuenta SIP details as provided by your VoIP service provider.
4. Save changes and reboot the phone if prompted.

6. Instrucciones de funcionamiento

6.1 Realizar llamadas

• Lift the Handset o presione el Vocero botón.

6.2 Responder llamadas

The 2.4-inch side display shows programmable DSS keys. These can be configured for speed dial, Busy Lamp Field (BLF), line keys, or other functions. Press the corresponding physical button next to the side display to activate the assigned function.

When you have new voicemail messages, the message waiting indicator (MWI) will flash. Press the dedicated Buzón de voz button to access your voicemail box and follow the audio prompts.
