The motion detector features a Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor for detecting movement and an adjustable twilight sensor. It is battery-powered and designed for wall mounting.

Wireless Pilot Plug

The wireless plug connects to a standard 230V outlet and receives signals from the motion detector to switch connected devices on or off. It has an IP44 rating for outdoor use and includes overload protection.

Installing Batteries in the Motion Detector

1. Abra el compartimento de la batería del detector de movimiento.

The motion detector can be mounted on a wall using screws or adhesive.

1. Choose a suitable location for the motion detector, ensuring optimal detection range (up to 8m) and angle (90°).

Pairing the Motion Detector with the Wireless Plug (Learning Function)

The system uses an easy learning function to pair the devices.

1. Plug the wireless pilot plug into a 230V outlet. The LED indicator will flash.
2. Press and hold the learning button on the wireless plug for approximately 3 seconds until the LED starts flashing rapidly.
3. Within 12 seconds, activate the motion detector (e.g., by moving in front of it or pressing its learning button if accessible with a pin).
4. The LED on the plug will stop flashing or change color to indicate successful pairing.
5. Test the connection by triggering the motion detector.

Detección de movimiento

When motion is detected within the sensor's range (up to 8 meters, 90° angle), the motion detector sends a signal to the paired wireless plug, activating the connected device.

Sensor crepuscular

The integrated twilight sensor ensures that the connected device only switches on when ambient light levels fall below a certain threshold, contributing to energy efficiency. This setting is adjustable.

Adjustable Operating Duration

The duration for which the connected device remains on after motion detection can be adjusted to 6 seconds, 15 seconds, 1 minute, or 5 minutes. Refer to the device's controls for adjustment.

The wireless plug can also be switched by other compatible radio transmitters from the ChiliTec Pilota Casa series, offering alternative control options.

Mantenimiento

Reemplazo de batería

When the motion detector's performance decreases or the LED indicator signals low battery, replace the 2 AAA batteries. Ensure correct polarity during replacement.

Limpieza

Clean the device surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals. Ensure the PIR sensor lens is clear of obstructions for optimal performance.

Protección ambiental

Dispose of old batteries and the device according to local environmental regulations. Do not dispose of with household waste.

Solución de problemas

El dispositivo no responde

• Check if the batteries in the motion detector are correctly inserted and charged. Replace if necessary.
• Ensure the wireless plug is securely plugged into a live 230V outlet.
• Verify that the motion detector and wireless plug are properly paired. Repeat the pairing process if needed.
• Check the distance between the motion detector and the plug. The maximum range is 30 meters in open areas; walls and other obstacles can significantly reduce this range.

Device Switches On/Off Randomly

• Adjust the sensitivity of the motion detector if possible.
• Ensure there are no moving objects (e.g., tree branches, pets, reflective surfaces) within the detection area that could trigger the sensor unintentionally.
• Check for strong radio interference from other devices operating on similar frequencies (433.92 MHz).

Connected Device Does Not Switch Off

• Verify the set operating duration.
• Ensure continuous motion is not being detected, which would keep the device active.
