1. Introducción

The Phenyx Pro PTM-22 is a UHF Mono Dual Wireless In-Ear Monitor System designed for reliable audio monitoring in various professional settings. 3.1. Transmisor inalámbrico

The dual-channel transmitter features two groups of left/right inputs and loop outputs, allowing for diverse monitoring requirements. The LOOP OUT jacks enable daisy-chaining signals to additional channels, facilitating audio monitoring sharing among bandmates. The unit is rack-mountable and includes removable feet for flexible installation. It is constructed with durable metal for protection.

3.2. Portable Bodypack Receiver

The sturdy bodypack receiver provides crisp mono audio monitoring. It operates in the UHF 900MHz band with minimal latency and offers 2x50 selectable frequencies. The system allows for free movement within a 164 ft operating range. Each bodypack features an informative LCD display showing RF signal, audio signal, and battery indicators.

4. Configuración

Follow these steps for initial setup of your PTM-22 system:

1. Conectar antenas: Screw the two included antennas into the ANTENNA A and ANTENNA B ports on the rear of the transmitter.
2. Encender el transmisor: Connect the power adapter to the DC input on the transmitter and plug it into a wall outlet. Press the POWER button to turn on the system.
3. Instalación de baterías en el Bodypack: Open the battery compartment of each bodypack receiver and insert two AA batteries (included), ensuring correct polarity.
4. Conectar auriculares: Plug your in-ear earphones into the 3.5mm PHONES jack on the bodypack receiver.
5. Seleccionar frecuencia: On the transmitter, use the GROUP and CHANNEL buttons to select your desired frequency.
6. Sincronizar Bodypack: Turn on the bodypack receiver. Align the IR window of the bodypack with the IR sensor on the transmitter. Press the SYNC button on the transmitter. The bodypack will automatically synchronize with the selected frequency.

5.1. Mono Monitoring

The PTM-22 system is designed for mono monitoring, which provides a focused and clear audio output by eliminating potential phase issues. This ensures consistent sound for performers and speakers.

5.2. Conexión en cadena

Utilize the LOOP OUT left/right jacks on the transmitter to daisy-chain the audio signal to additional channels or other monitoring devices. This allows for seamless sharing of the audio mix among multiple users or for routing to a soundboard/speaker for original sound monitoring.

5.3. Ajuste del volumen

Adjust the volume of your in-ear monitors using the VOL knob on the bodypack receiver. The transmitter also has individual volume controls (Vol 1, Vol 2) for each channel.

6. Mantenimiento

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your system:

  • Change the operating frequency on the transmitter and re-sync the bodypack to avoid interference from other wireless devices.

  • Minimize obstructions (walls, large metal objects) between the transmitter and receiver.
