Thank you for choosing the IROAD NX7 Dash Cam. This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your new dash camera. The IROAD NX7 is a high-performance 2-channel dash cam featuring Full HD 1080P recording for both front and rear cameras, a 3-inch touch panel display, 24-hour parking surveillance with motion and impact detection, and advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS).

4. Configuración e instalación

4.1 Preparación de la tarjeta MicroSD

1. Before first use, it is recommended to format the included 16GB MicroSD card using the IROAD PC Viewer software or directly on the device via the touch screen menu.
2. Insert the MicroSD card into the memory card slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is inserted correctly to avoid damage.

4.2 Montaje de la Dash Cam

The IROAD NX7 uses an adhesive mounting method for secure attachment.

1. Choose an optimal location on your windshield, typically behind the rearview espejo, asegurándose de que no obstruya su view.
2. Clean the chosen area on the windshield thoroughly to ensure strong adhesion.
3. Attach the adhesive mount to the dash cam bracket.
4. Peel off the protective film from the adhesive pad and firmly press the dash cam with the mount onto the cleaned windshield area for at least 30 seconds.
5. Repeat the process for the rear camera, mounting it on the rear windshield.

4.3 Conexión de la alimentación

The IROAD NX7 comes with an OBDⅡ power cable for easy and reliable power supply.

1. Locate your vehicle's OBDⅡ port (usually under the dashboard on the driver's side).
2. Connect the OBDⅡ power cable to the OBDⅡ port.
3. Connect the other end of the OBDⅡ power cable to the DC-IN Power Terminal on the IROAD NX7 front dash cam.
4. Route the power cable neatly along the vehicle's interior trim to avoid interference with driving.
5. Connect the rear camera to the front unit using the provided rear camera connection cable.

5. Instrucciones de funcionamiento

5.1 Encendido / Apagado

• The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when your vehicle's ignition is turned on, provided it is connected via the OBDⅡ power cable.
• To manually power off, press and hold the Power Switch until the device shuts down.

5.2 Modos básicos de grabación

The IROAD NX7 supports continuous recording, event recording, and parking surveillance recording.

• Grabación continua: Se inicia automáticamente al encender el vehículo. Footage is recorded in 1-minute segments and saved to the MicroSD card.
• Event Recording (Impact Recording): In case of a sudden impact or collision, the G-sensor triggers an event recording, saving the footage separately to prevent overwriting.
• Loop Recording (Overwrite Recording): When the MicroSD card is full, the oldest continuous recording files are automatically overwritten to make space for new recordings. Event recordings are protected from overwriting.

The IROAD NX7 offers 24-hour parking surveillance with advanced features:

• Detección de movimiento: The dash cam detects motion around the vehicle and automatically records footage.
• Detección de impacto: If an impact is detected while parked, the device records and saves the event footage.
• Time-lapse & Hyperlapse: For extended parking surveillance, the dash cam can record in time-lapse mode, compressing long periods into shorter videos, saving storage space.
• Battery Over-discharge Prevention: The dash cam monitors your vehicle's battery voltage and automatically cuts off power if the voltage drops below a set threshold, preventing battery drain.

5.4 Funcionamiento del panel táctil

The 3-inch touch panel allows for easy navigation and settings adjustment.

• Tap icons to access menus such as Live View, Playback, Settings, and File Gestión.
• Swipe to navigate through recorded files.
• Adjust settings like recording resolution, G-sensor sensitivity, parking mode options, and time/date.

5.5 Advanced Driving Assistance Systems (ADAS)

The IROAD NX7 includes ADAS features to enhance driving safety:

• LDWS (Sistema de advertencia de salida de carril): Le avisa si su vehículo se sale de su carril.
• FCWS (sistema de advertencia de colisión frontal): Warns you of an impending collision with a vehicle ahead.
• FVDW (Advertencia de salida del vehículo delantero): Notifies you when the vehicle in front starts moving from a standstill.

Note: ADAS features are supplementary and should not replace safe driving practices.

5.6 Compatibilidad de la luz de señal LED

The IROAD NX7 is designed to record clearly even when facing LED traffic signals, minimizing flicker and ensuring reliable footage.

6. Mantenimiento

6.1 Gestión de tarjetas MicroSD

• Regularly format the MicroSD card (at least once a month) to maintain optimal recording performance and prevent data corruption. This can be done via the dash cam's settings or the IROAD PC Viewes.
• Use only high-quality, genuine MicroSD cards recommended by IROAD.
• Replace the MicroSD card every 6-12 months, depending on usage, as flash memory has a limited lifespan.

6.2 Limpieza del dispositivo

• Wipe the camera lenses and the device body with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
