It is compatible with Bowens Mount lights, such as the Amaran 100d/x, Amaran 200d/x, and Aputure 120d II, 300d, and 600d Pro. This modifier is suitable for various applications including content creation, interviews, and portrait photography, providing control over light quality and spread.
The Light Dome 150 features a quick-release design for efficient assembly and disassembly. It includes two diffusion fabric options (1.5 stop and 2.5 stop) and a fabric honey grid for versatile light shaping. The 18 flexible fiberglass rods maintain a circular shape, contributing to pleasing reflections and even light falloff.

Instrucciones de montaje
The Light Dome 150 features a quick-release design for efficient setup. Follow these steps to assemble the softbox:
1. Unfolding the Softbox
- Remove the Light Dome 150 from its carrying bag.
- Gently unfold the softbox. The 18 fiberglass rods will naturally extend to form the circular shape.
2. Attaching to a Bowens Mount Light
- Align the Bowens mount on the rear of the Light Dome 150 with the Bowens mount on your compatible LED light fixture.
- Insert the softbox into the light fixture's mount and rotate clockwise until it clicks securely into place. Ensure it is firmly attached to prevent accidental detachment.

3. Installing Diffusion Fabrics
- Choose either the 1.5 stop (lighter) or 2.5 stop (heavier) diffusion fabric based on your desired light softness.
- Attach the chosen diffusion fabric to the inner edge of the softbox using the integrated hook-and-loop fasteners. Ensure it is evenly stretched across the front opening.
4. Attaching the Fabric Grid (Optional)
- For more directional light control and to minimize light spill, attach the fabric honey grid to the outer edge of the softbox using its hook-and-loop fasteners.

Once assembled, the Light Dome 150 is ready for use. Adjust your light fixture's settings as needed.
Adjusting Light Softness
- Utilice el 1.5 stop diffusion fabric for a softer light output with minimal light loss.
- Utilice el 2.5 stop diffusion fabric for maximum softness and diffusion, which will result in a greater reduction of light output.
- For a harder light quality, the softbox can be used without any diffusion fabric, though this is not its primary intended use.
Controlling Light Spread
- Adjuntar el fabric honey grid to narrow the beam angle of the light, reducing spill and directing light more precisely onto your subject.
- Without the grid, the light will spread more broadly, providing wider coverage.

Cuidado y mantenimiento
- Limpieza: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the exterior of the softbox. For diffusion fabrics, gentle hand washing with mild soap and water is recommended, followed by air drying. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Almacenamiento: When not in use, disassemble the softbox and store all components in the provided carrying bag. This protects the materials from dust, dirt, and potential damage. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Manejo: Avoid applying excessive force to the fiberglass rods during assembly or disassembly to prevent bending or breakage.
Solución de problemas
- Softbox not forming a perfect circle: Ensure all 18 fiberglass rods are fully extended and properly seated. Check for any obstructions or kinks in the fabric.
- Softbox detaching from light: Verify that the Bowens mount is correctly aligned and rotated clockwise until it locks securely. Ensure the light fixture's mount is also in good condition.
- Salida de luz desigual: Check that the diffusion fabric is evenly stretched and attached to the softbox. Ensure the light source itself is centered within the softbox.
