Sander Specific Safety

- Always use the correct type and size of sanding belt or disc for the material being sanded.

3. Configuración
3.1 Desembalaje y colocación
- Retire con cuidado todos los componentes del embalaje.
- Place the sander on a stable, level workbench. The cast iron housing provides stability, but ensure the surface can support its weight.
- Ensure adequate clearance around the machine for safe operation and dust extraction.
3.2 Attaching the Sanding Table
- Attach the sanding table to the disc sander side using the provided fasteners.
- Ensure the table is securely fastened and can be tilted smoothly.

3.3 Instalación de discos de lijado
The sanding discs attach easily thanks to the hook and loop coating.
- Ensure the disc pad is clean and free of debris.
- Align the new sanding disc with the disc pad and press firmly to secure it.
3.4 Installing Sanding Belts
- Release the belt tension lever (refer to the diagram on the machine for location).
- Slide the new sanding belt onto the rollers, ensuring the arrow on the belt matches the direction of rotation indicated on the machine.
- Re-engage the belt tension lever.
- Adjust the belt tracking if necessary by turning the tracking knob until the belt runs centrally on the rollers.

3.5 Conexión de extracción de polvo
Connect a suitable dust extraction system to the dust port located at the rear of the machine. This helps maintain a clean work environment and prolongs abrasive life.
4. Instrucciones de funcionamiento
4.1 Encendido / Apagado
The machine is equipped with a power switch (green for ON, red for OFF) located on the front panel.

4.2 Using the Belt Sander
The sanding belt arm can be positioned from 0-90° (vertical to horizontal) to accommodate various workpieces and sanding tasks.
- Loosen the locking knob for the belt arm adjustment.
- Adjust the belt arm to the desired angle.
- Apriete firmemente la perilla de bloqueo.
- Turn on the sander.
- Apply the workpiece gently to the moving belt, using even pressure.

4.3 Using the Disc Sander
The sanding table for the disc sander can be tilted from 0-45° and is equipped with a scale for precise angle adjustments.
- Adjust the sanding table to the desired angle using the tilt mechanism and scale. Secure it firmly.
- Turn on the sander.
- Present the workpiece to the rotating disc, moving it across the disc surface to ensure even wear of the abrasive.

5. Mantenimiento

If the sanding belt drifts to one side during operation, adjust the belt tracking knob until the belt runs centrally on the rollers. This prevents premature wear of the belt and machine components.
