5. Configuración

5.1. Instalación de la batería

1. Open the safe door using one of the emergency keys. Insert the key into the keyhole, turn it clockwise, and then turn the handle to open the door.
2. Localice el compartimiento de la batería en el interior de la puerta de la caja fuerte.
3. Inserte 4 pilas AA (no incluidas) en el compartimento, asegurándose de la polaridad correcta (+/-).

5. Test the electronic lock by entering a default code (if any, or proceed to set your own code).

5.2. Montaje de la caja fuerte

For optimal security, it is highly recommended to mount the safe to a wall or floor using the provided mounting bolts.

1. Choose a suitable location for mounting, suchs as a solid wall or floor.
2. Open the safe door and locate the pre-drilled holes on the back or bottom of the safe.
3. Mark the drilling points on the wall/floor through the pre-drilled holes.
4. Realice agujeros en los puntos marcados con una broca adecuada.
5. Alinee la caja fuerte con los orificios perforados e inserte los pernos de montaje.
6. Apriete bien los pernos para fijar la caja fuerte en su lugar.

6. Instrucciones de funcionamiento

6.1. Configuración de su código personal

You can program a personal code of 3 to 8 digits.

1. With the safe door open, press the red reset button located on the inside of the door, near the battery compartment. You will hear a beep, and the yellow indicator light on the keypad will illuminate.
2. Dentro de 5 segundos, ingrese el código deseado de 3 a 8 dígitos en el teclado.
3. Press the "E" or "#" button to confirm your new code. You will hear a confirmation beep, and the yellow light will turn off.
4. Test the new code with the door open before closing it. If successful, the green light will illuminate.

2. Press the "E" or "#" button. The green indicator light will illuminate, and you will hear a beep.

6.3. Apertura de la caja fuerte con llave de emergencia

In case of forgotten code or dead batteries, you can use the emergency key.

1. Localice la cerradura de emergencia, normalmente oculta detrás de una pequeña cubierta en el panel del teclado.
2. Remove the cover and insert one of the emergency keys.
3. Turn the key clockwise and simultaneously turn the handle to open the safe door.
4. Once open, you can replace the batteries or reset the code.

6.4. Cierre y bloqueo de la caja fuerte

Close the safe door and turn the handle counter-clockwise until it is fully locked. The safe will automatically lock.

7.1. Reemplazo de la batería

When the low battery warning is activated (usually indicated by a red light or specific beeps), replace all four AA batteries immediately to ensure continuous operation.

1. Open the safe using your code or the emergency key.
