3. Instrucciones de configuración

1. Unpack the Bin: Retire con cuidado todos los componentes del embalaje.
2. Instale las baterías:
   • Locate the battery compartment, typically on the underside of the lid or at the back of the unit.
   • Abra la tapa del compartimiento de la batería.
   • Inserte cuatro (4) baterías AA, asegurándose de la polaridad correcta (+/-).
   • Cierre bien la tapa del compartimento de la batería.

3. Insert Inner Bin and Liner:
   • Place the inner bin into the main unit.
   • Fit a suitable trash bag (liner) into the inner bin, ensuring the edges are neatly tucked.
4. Position the Bin: Place the bin in your desired location. The semi-round shape allows it to fit snugly against a wall.

4. Instrucciones de funcionamiento

4.1 Funcionamiento automático del sensor

1. Activar sensor: Ensure batteries are installed and the bin is powered on (if there's a power switch, typically located near the battery compartment).
2. Tapa abierta: Wave your hand or an object approximately 10-15 cm above the sensor located on the lid. The lid will open automatically.
3. Cerrar la tapa: La tapa se cerrará automáticamente después de unos segundos de inactividad.

4.2 Manual Lid Operation

For situations requiring the lid to remain open for an extended period, or if batteries are depleted, you can operate the lid manually.

• Gently lift the lid by hand to open it.
• To close, gently push the lid down until it is fully shut.

5. Mantenimiento y cuidado

Regular cleaning and proper care will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your EKO Sensor Bin.

• Limpieza exterior: Limpie el exterior de acero inoxidable con un paño suave.amp cloth. For stubborn marks, use a stainless steel cleaner. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scourers that may damage the finish. The special coating helps prevent greasy fingerprints.
• Limpieza interior: Remove the inner bin and wash it with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before placing it back into the main unit. The inner bin is made of stain-resistant plastic for easy cleaning.
• Limpieza de la tapa: Limpie la tapa con publicidadamp cloth. Ensure no water enters the battery compartment or sensor area.
• Deodorizer Pocket: The lid features a deodorizer pocket. Replace the deodorizer filter periodically as needed (deodorizer sold separately).
