Configuración

1. Montaje de la mira telescópica

Ensure your rifle is unloaded and pointed in a safe direction before mounting. The Diamondback riflescope is compatible with Weaver Mount systems. Use appropriate rings and bases for secure attachment.

  1. Attach the mounting bases to your rifle according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  2. Place the lower half of the rings onto the bases.
  3. Carefully place the riflescope into the lower rings, ensuring proper eye relief and reticle alignment.
  4. Attach the upper half of the rings and tighten the screws evenly, following the torque specifications provided by your ring manufacturer. Do not overtighten.
2. Focusing the Reticle

The fast focus eyepiece allows for quick and easy reticle focusing to ensure a sharp image of the reticle.

  1. Hold the riflescope about 3-4 inches from your eye.
  2. Look through the eyepiece at a plain, bright background (like a wall or the sky).
  3. Quickly glance at the reticle. If it's not sharp, rotate the eyepiece until the reticle appears crisp and clear. Avoid staring at the reticle for too long, as your eye will compensate for blurriness.
3. Puesta a cero inicial

Initial zeroing should be performed at a safe shooting range. The metal-on-metal precision turrets allow for zero reset after sight-in.

  1. Set up a target at a known distance (e.g., 25 yards for initial bore sighting).
  2. Fire a three-shot group.
  3. Adjust the windage and elevation knobs to move the point of impact towards the center of the target. Each click of the turret will move the point of impact by a specific amount (refer to specifications for click values).
  4. Once zeroed, you can reset the turrets to '0' by lifting the turret cap, rotating it to align the '0' mark with the indicator dot, and pressing it back down.

Operación de la mira telescópica

1. Ajuste de aumento

Rotate the magnification adjustment ring located near the eyepiece to change the magnification power. This model offers a variable magnification from 1.75x to 5x.

2. Ajustes de elevación y deriva

The windage (horizontal) and elevation (vertical) adjustments are made using the turrets on the top and side of the scope body. These adjustments allow you to fine-tune your point of impact.

3. Dead-Hold BDC Reticle

The Dead-Hold BDC (Bullet Drop Compensator) reticle is designed to help eliminate guesswork on hold-over and windage corrections. It features a series of dots or hash marks below the main crosshair that correspond to different distances, allowing for quick aiming adjustments without manipulating the turrets.

Mantenimiento

1. Limpieza de las lentes

Keep your lenses clean for optimal viewing. Your riflescope comes with removable lens covers and a lens cloth.

2. Cuidado general y almacenamiento

The Diamondback riflescope is designed to be shockproof, waterproof, and fogproof, ensuring reliable performance in harsh environments. However, proper care extends its lifespan.
