2. Información de seguridad

  • Use only new 4 AAA alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
  • Ensure the correct polarity when inserting batteries.
  • Keep physical keys in a safe, accessible location outside the locked area for emergency access.
  • Regularly clean the fingerprint sensor and keypad to ensure optimal performance.
  • The USB-C port is for emergency power supply only, not for charging batteries.

5. Guía de instalación

Follow these steps carefully to install your smart door lock. For visual guidance, refer to the provided images and videos.

5.1 Pre-Installation Checks (Door Compatibility)

Asegúrese de que su puerta cumpla con los siguientes requisitos:

  • Espesor de la puerta: 1⅜" - 1¾" (35mm - 45mm)
  • Distancia de retroceso: Adjustable between 2⅜" - 2¾" (60mm - 70mm)

5.2 Instalación del pestillo

  2. Adjust the backset of the latch if needed (60mm or 70mm). Ensure the square hole of the latch remains vertical.
  3. Secure the latch with screws.

5.3 Handle Assembly and Installation

  1. Open the battery cover on the rear handle assembly.
  2. Insert 4 new AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Connect the door lock circuit board port (wire from front handle) to the battery compartment.
  4. Align the square tube of the front handle with the latch holes and insert it through the door.
  5. Attach the rear handle assembly, ensuring the wires are not pinched.
  6. Tighten the screws to secure both handle assemblies to the door.

6. Instrucciones de configuración

6.1 Descarga y emparejamiento de la aplicación

  1. Scan the QR code in the manual or search for "Tuya Smart" in your smartphone's app store to download the application.
  2. Regístrese o inicie sesión en su cuenta Tuya Smart.
  3. Habilite Bluetooth en su teléfono inteligente.
  4. On the lock, long press the small hole on the rear handle with a screwdriver for 9 seconds to enter pairing mode.
  5. In the Tuya Smart app, tap "Add Device" and select the door lock. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process.

6.2 Agregar huellas dactilares

  1. In the Tuya Smart app, navigate to "Member Management" and select the user for whom you want to add a fingerprint.
  2. Tap "Add Fingerprint" and follow the voice prompts from the lock.
  3. Place your finger on the fingerprint sensor, rotating it to capture different angles (at least 5 times) for improved recognition.
  4. Once successfully added, name the fingerprint in the app.

6.3 Setting Passcodes

  1. In the Tuya Smart app, navigate to "Temporary Code" or "Member Management" to set up passcodes.
  2. Elija entre:
    • Códigos personalizados: 6-9 digit permanent codes.
    • Timed Codes: Valid only during specified dates and times.
    • One-time Codes: Work only once.
    • Código dinámico: Multiple uses within a 5-minute window.
  3. Enter the desired passcode on the lock's keypad when prompted by the app.

7. Funcionamiento de la cerradura

Your IRONZON Smart Fingerprint Door Lock offers several convenient ways to unlock.

7.1 Métodos de desbloqueo

  • Desbloqueo de huella digital: Place your registered finger on the sensor. The lock will unlock within 1 second if recognized.
  • Desbloqueo de contraseña: Touch the keypad to activate it, then enter your registered passcode followed by '#'.
  • Desbloqueo de aplicaciones: Open the Tuya Smart app, select your lock, and tap the unlock icon. (Requires gateway for remote unlock, sold separately).
  • Desbloqueo de llave física: Insert the physical key into the keyhole located on the handle and turn to unlock.

7.2 Función de bloqueo automático

The lock is equipped with an auto-lock feature that automatically secures the door after a set period. This feature can be configured via the Tuya Smart app.

7.3 Fuente de alimentación de emergencia

In case of battery depletion, you can temporarily power the lock using a USB-C cable connected to an external power bank. The USB-C port is located at the bottom of the front handle.

8. Mantenimiento

8.1 Reemplazo de batería

When the battery level is low, the lock will provide an audible warning. Replace all 4 AAA alkaline batteries promptly to avoid being locked out. Ensure correct polarity.

8.2 Limpieza

Regularly wipe the fingerprint sensor and keypad with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and smudges. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the surface or electronic components.
