1. Introducción

Thank you for choosing the ROCAM Indoor Security Camera. This device is designed to provide reliable home surveillance with features such as 360° pan/tilt, 2-way audio, and night vision. This manual will guide you through the installation, setup, and operation of your camera.

4. Guía de configuración

4.1. Instalación Física

1. Elija una ubicación: Select an indoor location with a stable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal. The camera can be placed on a flat surface or mounted to a ceiling.
2. Encendido: Connect the power adapter to the camera's DC 5V port and plug it into a power outlet. The camera will power on and initiate its self-test.
3. Luz indicadora: Wait for the indicator light to flash red, indicating it's ready for connection.

4.2. Instalación de la aplicación y creación de una cuenta

1. Descargar la aplicación: Buscar the "ROCAM" app in your smartphone's app store (iOS App Store or Google Play Store) and download it.
2. Registrar Cuenta: Abra la aplicación y siga las instrucciones en pantalla para registrar una nueva cuenta usando su dirección de correo electrónico o número de teléfono.

4.3. Conexión de la cámara

1. Agregar dispositivo: In the ROCAM app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device. Select "Smart Camera" or the appropriate camera type.
2. Configuración wifi: Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Enter your Wi-Fi password when prompted. Nota: Las redes Wi-Fi de 5 GHz no son compatibles.
3. Escanear código QR: The app will generate a QR code. Hold your phone approximately 15-20 cm (6-8 inches) in front of the camera lens until you hear a prompt sound from the camera, indicating successful scanning.
4. Conexión completada: Once connected, the camera's indicator light will turn solid blue. You can now name your camera and begin using it.

5. Instrucciones de funcionamiento

5.1. Vivir View

Open the ROCAM app and tap on your camera's name to access the live video feed. You can view comida en tiempo realtage de su cámara.

En vivo view screen, swipe your finger across the video feed to remotely control the camera's pan (horizontal) and tilt (vertical) movements. Pinch to zoom in or out digitally.

5.3. Audio bidireccional

5.4. Detección de movimiento y alertas

Enable motion detection in the camera settings within the app. When motion is detected, the camera will record a short video clip and send an alert notification to your smartphone.

5.5. Visión nocturna

The camera automatically switches to night vision mode in low-light conditions, providing clear black and white video up to 30 feet using its integrated IR system.

5.6. Grabación y almacenamiento de vídeo

La cámara admite dos métodos de grabación:

• Almacenamiento en tarjeta MicroSD: Insert a MicroSD card (up to 128GB, not included) into the camera's slot for local storage of recordings. Ensure the camera is powered off before inserting or removing the card.
• Almacenamiento en la nube: Subscribe to the optional cloud storage service through the ROCAM app for secure, off-site video storage.

6. Mantenimiento

6.1. Limpieza

Limpie suavemente la lente y el cuerpo de la cámara con un paño suave y seco. Evite usar productos químicos agresivos o limpiadores abrasivos.

6.2. Actualizaciones de firmware

Periodically check the ROCAM app for available firmware updates. Keeping your camera's firmware up-to-date ensures optimal performance and security features.

6.3. Gestión del almacenamiento

If using a MicroSD card, regularly review y gestionar foo grabadotage. Old recordings may be overwritten automatically when the card is full, depending on your settings.

7. Solución de problemas

• La cámara no se conecta al Wi-Fi:
  • Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. 5GHz is not supported.
  • Compruebe que la contraseña de Wi-Fi sea correcta.
  • Acerque la cámara a su enrutador Wi-Fi.
  • Reset the camera by pressing the reset button for 5 seconds until you hear a prompt.
• No hay transmisión de video en vivo:
  • Verify the camera is powered on and connected to Wi-Fi (solid blue indicator light).
  • Comprueba tu conexión a Internet.
  • Restart the ROCAM app.
• Alertas de movimiento no recibidas:
  • Asegúrese de que la detección de movimiento esté habilitada en la configuración de la aplicación.
  • Check your phone's notification settings for the ROCAM app.
  • Ajuste la sensibilidad del movimiento si es necesario.
