4. Configuración e instalación
Proper installation is crucial for pump performance and longevity.
4.1 Montaje
- Monte la bomba en un área seca y bien ventilada.
- Secure the pump to a solid surface using the integrated mounting tabs.
- Ensure the pump is mounted in a position that allows for easy access for maintenance and inspection.
4.2 Fontanería
- Use appropriate fittings (2 fittings included) for your application.
- Connect the inlet hose to the pump's inlet port (indicated by 'FLOW' arrow).
- Connect the outlet hose to the pump's outlet port.
- Ensure all plumbing connections are tight to prevent leaks and air ingress.
- Install a filter on the inlet side to protect the pump from debris.
4.3 Conexión eléctrica
- This pump operates on Corded Electric power. Refer to the pump label for specific voltagy requisitos.
- Connect the pump to a fused power supply.
- Ensure correct polarity for DC models.
- All electrical connections should be made by a qualified professional and comply with local codes.
5. Instrucciones de funcionamiento
The 23A Series is an automatic demand pump, meaning it will turn on and off based on system pressure.
- Cebado: Once plumbing and electrical connections are complete, open a faucet or valve on the discharge side to allow air to escape. Turn on the power to the pump. The pump will begin to self-prime. Once a steady stream of water flows from the open faucet, close it. The pump will build pressure and shut off.
- Operación automática: The pump will automatically turn on when a demand for water is detected (e.g., opening a faucet) and turn off when the demand ceases and system pressure is restored.
- Ejecución en seco: The pump is capable of dry running without damage, but continuous dry running is not recommended.
6. Mantenimiento
El mantenimiento regular garantiza un rendimiento óptimo y prolonga la vida útil de la bomba.
- Inspeccionar las conexiones: Periodically check all plumbing and electrical connections for tightness and signs of wear.
- Limpiar el filtro de entrada: If an inlet filter is installed, clean it regularly to prevent debris from entering the pump.
- Winterización: In freezing conditions, drain all water from the pump and plumbing system to prevent damage. Run non-toxic RV antifreeze through the system if necessary.
- Limpieza general: Mantenga el exterior de la bomba limpio y libre de suciedad y residuos.
7. Solución de problemas
Consulte la siguiente tabla para conocer los problemas comunes y sus soluciones.
| Problema | Posible causa | Solución |
|---|---|---|
| La bomba no enciende | No power; Blown fuse; Loose wiring; Faulty pressure switch | Check power supply; Replace fuse; Secure wiring; Contact support if switch is faulty. |
| Flujo bajo o sin presión | Clogged inlet filter; Air leak in suction line; Restricted discharge line; Low voltage | Clean filter; Check all suction connections; Clear discharge line; Verify voltage. |
